Excel mount easily installed, needs better measurement instructions
This mount was purchased to support the Sony Bravia XBR 55HX929 TV. Neither the Sony I-Manual, the Sony PROFORMAWM60 installation writeup, nor Sony support could tell me what measurement to use to mount the support bars. What is needed is the dimension from the desired top edge of the TV on the wall to the center of the two holes to be drilled to mount the support bars. I was trying to mount the PROFORMA in advance of receipt of the TV so as to be ready to hang immediately upon uncrating the TV. With small children in the house I didn't want the TV laying around on the dining room table any longer than necessary. Result: Drill two more holes after the TV arrived. Other than this--it's a piece of cake to install and works perfectly!

Worth the extra $.. talk about flush.
Very impressed with this product... easy to install and looks great. TV is flush with the wall as much as the design allows.

Works Great
Used it to hasng a 55" TV. Anyone can do it if you are a little handy. Took about 1 hr. Product is well made and sturdy. TV hangs like a picture and is close to the wall.

Very poor construction
It wasn't the sellers fault but the item's support bars had a crack on one side. Re-ordered from Amazon through another company and had the same issue. Gave up completely on this item. Had to return them both at my expense costing me around $50.00. Sorry I had to experience such a worthless product.

Stop looking and buy this.
This is awsome. If you want your tv as close as possible with almost nothing showing when looking at it from the side get this. Easy to use. Easy to hang. Can move back and forth and change the angle. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Not so great
Had high hopes for this mount but it fell short, way short. Focus camera, who shipped it was great with delivery and the return. The reason for the return is simple, the product bar and wire were too long and curled when I had the VESA 400 holes lined up. This created extra slack which allowed you to see the top of the bracket when I hung the tv. The hardware and overall quality is very good but this issue was a deal breaker for me. Maybe I got a bad one. When I called the manufacter Proforma I made up my mind that I wouldn't buy another one, they were absolutely clueless and flat out rude. I went to a local store and purchased a very good mount for $30 less and there is no plastic, all metal which was another plus.

Hangs like a Picture Frame
Have 3 of these, love them and how slim design they are. Like a picture on a wall!
