I bought this for an older car that only had one USB port, and we needed to charge an older (Lightning) and a newer (USB-C) iPhone at the same time. We already had a bunch of standard USB cables, so I purchased this model vs. the newer USB-C one. This is a 24W charger, so it's quicker than what was in the car, but not as fast as the newer USB-C ones. Pros: - Super small, but sticks out enough that it's easy to get out if needed. - Chargers faster than the existing USB port in the car. This is 24W shared. - Two ports. - It's metal (aluminum), which is a nice touch, and the color matches the car. Cons: - None Overall, this was an excellent purchase for a reasonable price. I've purchased Anker products before and have rarely been disappointed.

It works just fine. I had to power both my old iPhone and dashcam in a 2013 Camry and not try to engage with the car's infotainment system via USB. Perfect solution.

I really like it. With the two ports and seems to charge quickly. Seems sturdy and well built. It doesn’t have any stupid flashing lights that change colors like alot of others, which I really appreciate. It’s everything it needs to be, a nice simple, compact charger without any extra bs. Couldn’t see how it could get any better. Ordered one and was very pleased with it so of course I had to get one for our other vehicle 100% recommend!

I bought this with the intention of using a USB-A adapter for something else and my car does not have USB-A ports but it has a 12V port. Anker is by far the best charging product out there and I only buy Anker for my Apple devices. My star rating rubric: 5 stars - perfect, keeping this item 4 stars - good purchase, but has flaws 3 stars - okay purchase, has flaws, works for the most part, but not thrilled 2 stars- mostly works, but returned 1 star- doesn’t work for my needs, broke, returned it, inaccurate description, absolute garbage, or 3rd party seller

I was looking for a car charger for my iPhone that (1) was a darker color to blend in with my console and (2) was short, so as not to be so conspicuous. I also also prefer a USB-A connection for the plug-in because it feels more secure. I have a coiled USB-A to USB-C cable, also dark in color, to connect to the iPhone. I previously had a white charger that was too conspicuous and too long. Also, because the old charger was so long, it would easily get moved and lose its contact. The typical car charger is about 1 1/2" long, and this one is nice and short. Also, I prefer the Anker brand for my chargers. Lastly, I like the little blue light that turns on when you're charging your phone. It's an example of a perfect little product that meets my car charging needs in all respects.

This is a surprisingly fast charger. It charges as well as my big charger at home. For modern life, we must have a cellphone power source almost everywhere we go. This charger has lasted for a couple of years. The tiny power light is nice. I don't want a large power indicator because they are distracting during night drives.

The charger sits about 5mm proud of the socket, so looks neat at the same time as being easy to remove. The raised edge leaves some space for air flow. I do not have the necessary equipment to confirm charge wattage, but I can say it charges my phone which needs 25w, at the same speed as my 25w mains charger. The finish is very good. There is a very small blue LED which shows it is in use. It is bright enough to see without being too bright at night. An excellent purchase, I am a happy chappy.

It's one of the best adaptors I have got, very small - it almost gets invisible when you put it in the car socket - and it's very high quality.
