Lightweight & layers well with essence & serum
I’ve tried a lot of moisturizers & hadn’t found the ‘just right’ product until now. They were oily, irritated my sensitive skin, rolled with sunscreen or didn’t do the job. It amazes me that such a small amount packs a wallop of moisture and softening. I use a teeny tiny bit for my face, neck, décolletage and a bit more on my arms & hands. I imagine I won’t need another jar for a long time. When I do run out, I’ll repurchase. For reference, I have dry, sensitive skin.

Love this cream!!
Love this product! Texture is wonderful and isn’t too heavy. I've used this cream daily for about a month now and it has brightened and softened my skin tremendously. I have especially sensitive skin, and this mosturizes is great. Highly recommend

Great for dry skin
This is the only moisturizer that works for my dry flaky skin. Gives it a nice bounce. It soaks into your skin and leaves a nice feel.

Delightful, luxurious...
This stuff feels so good going on. And it's incredibly moisturizing, too. It's allegedly got all kinds of special herbal extracts, but I'm not sure they make any difference. To me, it's just a very high quality, light moisturizer that goes on beautifully and never makes me break out. Oh, and I love the packaging too. That helps, since I leave the container out.

This moisturizer is the real deal. Hydrates and makes fine lines and wrinkles disappear. Wow!
This Whal Myung Hydrating Moisturizer works surprisingly well for me in reducing my fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. I'm in my early 40's, and the little wrinkles in the "smile" areas around my eyes are starting to intensify...and extend outwards and downwards. They're not horrible, but I can start to see a difference from my 30's to my 40's, that's for sure. I have oily skin to start with, so moisturizers are a little weird for me - they have to be fairly lightweight, or they just sit on top of my skin and never absorb right - and then my face looks like an oil slick and way too shiny. Kinda gross.First off, I did not try this cream without using Whal Myung's prepping trio of a cleansing balm first, their toner 2nd, and then their serum. I was super impressed with the results of a trial pack I also received of the aforementioned trio (listed in a separate review), and THEN I put this stuff on after all that. I rarely see results quickly with moisturizers like this, but this stuff works the first day IF you use the previous products before it. While I got great results from their other stuff, this is the icing on the cake that fills in whatever the previous items missed. All of it is nothing short of amazing, IMO.The "crepey" look that's creeping up around my eyes lately and trying to spread to my cheekbones have been very diminished until I can't find the finer ones. I've seen creams diminish fine lines a little, but this stuff actually makes most of them disappear! I'm also using this on my neck, and after just a few days, I'm actually seeing some improvement there, too.I've tried a lot of different kinds of "miracle" creams and weird systems out there, with mixed results. I also have sensitive skin on my face, so I have to be extra careful. This doesn't irritate my skin, and even after putting on all that other stuff on it first before even getting around to putting this on last, there's NO irritation, and everything absorbs nicely into my skin without leaving me feeling like I'm a total greaseball. I can also put my makeup on over it without any issues whatsoever, which is unheard of for me in thicker creams like this. I'm kind of at a loss for words, because I honestly thought people were just hyping this stuff up for nothing. This comes with a little applicator so that you don't have to get your fingers all in the cream when scooping it out. For me, a little bit goes a really long way, but everyone will probably be different, and YMMV. This is high quality stuff, though, and the real deal. I'm a little stunned each and every time I look closely in the mirror. While I obviously don't look like I'm 20, it certainly looks like the past few years erased right off my face. Holy cow!I think Whal Myung makes these creams and moisturizers to be used IN ADDITION to their other items, most importantly their serum. I'm not convinced this will work as well otherwise - it doesn't seem to be a generic "wash your face with whatever you want and then apply this stuff" kind of thing...so if you don't already have their serum and/or their other items first, I would sincerely recommend those along with this for the very best results. Again - I've tried a LOT of things out there, and this is the best I've seen for literally making mild to moderate wrinkles disappear on my skin, which REALLY surprised me. I didn't think it was possible, but they must be doing something right with their particular formula, provided you go along with their whole system. As with anything, YMMV - but as for me, this works REALLY well and deserves two thumbs up! Wow!

Restores Lipids & Hydrates Well, Not Greasy & Extra Gentle, Great Low Risk Ingredients, Light Scent
Whal Myung WM5 Hydrating Cream is made by Dong Wha Pharm, a Korean company that’s been around well over a century. This has quickly become a favorite brand of mine after getting hooked on the WM5 Revitalizing Cream recently. I have dry, sensitive skin so the Revitalizing Cream is perfect for my skin type, but this lighter weight Hydrating Cream is also lovely and makes my skin feel great too. It’s formulated to restore lipids and hydrate, and it’s excellent day or night for those who don’t care for rich or heavy creams but still want skin that feels hydrated, smooth and nourished. I do lean toward richer creams, but my dry skin still looks amply hydrated and feels comfortable using this Hydrating cream. The Hydrating cream is white with a light, lovely citrus scent. The cream comes in an amber jar boxed nicely with a little envelope containing a spatula and a sheet with clear directions and an overview of the product line. This cream absorbs quickly, doesn’t feel heavy or greasy and doesn’t leave any residue. I can feel and see the hydration and my skin feels comfortable all day when paired with a serum, though it doesn’t feel moist and dewy like it does with the richer Replenishing Cream. The Hydrating cream is so gentle and doesn’t dry, irritate or sting my skin. This cream seems good for any skin type. Those with really dry skin who like richer creams may prefer the Replenishing cream or want to add it at night. Many companies claim their creams are gentle and natural but actually use harsh chemicals. I’m so pleased that WM5 Hydrating cream really does contain all natural or low risk ingredients (based on EWG data). Fragrance (parfum) is the only exception but it always rates high risk by EWG and at least it’s the last ingredient and doesn’t bother my allergies. After checking every ingredient in the EWG database, there was only one natural ingredient that didn’t get a 1 rating. Cinnamomum Cassia Bark Extract gets a 4 as a potential allergen. The actual bark gets a 1 rating and I’ve had no reaction, so it’s not an ingredient that’s worrisome to me. It’s rare to have such low risk ingredients in an effective cream, and I feel good about using this cream as it lacks any of the widely used creepy chemicals. For those with allergies or sensitivities, this cream looks great. It does have lecithin that might be egg or soy derived (unspecified). The Revitalizing Cream has dimethicone, but I don’t see it in this Hydrating Cream. So this is a great choice for those with dimethicone sensitivities. This cream has no sunscreen, which is best as I don’t want extra chemicals at night and I add sunscreen as needed during the day. I highly recommend this Hydrating Cream for all skin types, including the most sensitive skin, and for those who like a richer feeling cream and tolerate dimethicone I highly suggest adding the Revitalizing Cream at night. This is the best quality cream. Love it. 5 stars. Made in Korea.
