EDTREE DAC Optical Toslink SPDIF Coaxial Digital to Analog RCA 3.5mm Audio Converter Adapter

Doesn't match the "make" in description and image. This DAC functions only in YouTube mode with my Samsung NU7100 smart TV. Doesn't work with any other mode. And there is no option for return, there is option only to replace. Amazon pls look into it.

I was trying to connect my speakers & headphone to my TV since purchased it 2 years ago. But there's no port or way to connect directly. First I bought RCA to AUX cable, that didn't work. Then I tried with my DishTV STB, sadly that didn't work too (but worked on airtel DTH via RCA ports). Then I saw that my STB has a S/PDIF port, so after some research I got to know that I can connect any speaker or headphone to my STB via that S/PDIF port, but for that I needed a convertor. So I searched on google about that, & found that Amazon is selling some convertors, but I was in confusion about which one to go for.. after searching all over online, reading reviews & description, I finally placed this order. Received after 4 days, I was also in doubt that if I have to purchase a S/PDIF cable or will it be included with this product. I even questioned this on amazon, but no one answered that, even the seller. When I received it, I opened & found ALL THE ACCESSORIES with the product!! Connected, felt a little bit electric shock as I touched the port while on line, then connected my STB to my speaker via this converter, it was easy to install as I inserted 3.5mm jack of my speaker, and inserted the USB cable on my TV’s USB port (I don't have any extra plug, so I didn't use the charging adapter), then I turned on my TV, it's WORKING SUCCESSFULLY! I'm so happy seeing that.The sound quality is loud & clear (same as when I used the speaker on my laptop). Though my suggestion is don't use in full volume if you too don't use the USB on adapter plug.So, here's the main question, is it value for money? Except for the Logo on the device, rest are exactly what is on the website.In the pic logo is edtree but on device it is written as easyday.I have MI 4A 49inch TV, I bought SPDIF cable, took output from TV and input to this DVC and it worked very well.I bought this particularly to enable me to connect 3.5mm headset and watch without disturbing my family and I am very satisfied.Sound output from it is constant and TV volume is independent.I played mp4 and now from my pendrive, hard-disk and from YouTube. Everything played nicely. In other words, everything you can get from TV speakers can be heard through the DVCSound quality is impressive, fantastic effect.Looks like this imported from US hence the adapter pins are US type, since I had a powerstrip with multi type holes, I had no issues with it.On Amazon similar devices are available for more than 1000rs, trust me, you don't have to spend so much as this does exactly the same job those do.

This one is the ONLY perfect Toshlink to Audio conversion box available here.Tried another on too which had less audio output problem.Purchased Two of these,The price is high but quality is good.

This is way pricey. Does its job pretty decent. Just bought so not sure of durability. But providing a power adapter was thoughtful - the other brands are even more miserly.

Put ear jack of speaker in this product and your speaker quality is increase very much

I’m using it to convert & connect to external speakers for Samsung 4K smart TV. Works well, didn’t notice any sound loss or distortion. Very easy to install, plug & play

Can't believe such product is available..Could use my PC speakers for TV..
