The answer to Your question, depends on a number of factors. Battery life will depend on what setting you have the torch, whether the bright not so bright flashing, etc It is a shame they didn't put battery indicator lights on so we are left in the dark literally unless we know the batteries have plenty of life in them meaning recently charged. Hi myself have had this torch for quite a while now and I find it's excellent apart from no battery life indicators. I give it a good charge. Put it in the boot of the car and it lasts me for weeks. I'm sure the light level will drop off if the batterys get too low. This I haven't noticed with my sample. I hope this helps. I would say you would get at least one full evening out of the torch on a full charge

This torch can attach to a standard tripod attachment via the central screw found at the top of the tripod. It just screws in - the same as would a camera. Almost all tripods have this or can come as an attachment to the top of the tripod. Very easy to do.
