LG 49UM7100PLB 49-Inch UHD 4K HDR Smart LED TV with Freeview Play - Ceramic Black colour (2019 Model) [Energy Class A]

Extremely satisfied with this television, amazingly clear picture, I had read reviews before stating that it was not as good as expected and was difficult to set up, I must say I am a pensioner and a bit of a novice when it comes to technology but I found it to be the opposite, so easy to set up if you can follow instructions and a wonderful picture. The smart features are easy to use and all in all I am very pleased with it. One thing to be aware of is the positioning of the stands, you will need a fairly long stand for it. I bought the magic remote separately as you need it to access all of the features, Alexa etc. The remote supplied with it will not do all of it and was slightly disappointing as I thought that the television should come with the appropriate one. Having said that I am certainly very happy with my purchase and would gladly recommend it.

Bought this TV for work and it’s great! It’s so easy to set up! Has a built in step by step guide which allows you to tune all channels, set dates and times etc. Easy to set up and screw the legs in (very sturdy) when you plug a games console in the smart features decide which screen setting it would best suit so you get best picture quality (even when you change games) awesome TV and well worth the money. Only down side is the box. The carry handles are well down the side so makes it difficult for a 1 man lift.

First one was delivered with a shattered screen. Amazon wouldn't arrange a return pick up so had to get a courier ourselves (that amazon paid for). But of a nightmare.... BUT...when the unbroken one arrived it was great. Big fan of LG TVs, I have a bigger one than this and I love it. Bought this one for my dad and he is chuffed. Such a great picture, the HD is crisp and clear. Smart features allow for Netflix and other streaming apps. Good picture for playstation gaming too. A great tv at a decent price ( we got in black friday sales)

This is an excellent TV for the money. The picture is razor sharp and the colours are bright and vibrant. The inbuilt speakers are of a good quality and much better than my last LG tv, which was only 4 years old. Unfortunately though, these TVs have an issue with the satellite signal receiver and HD channels in the UK won't work. This is an issue that LG are reluctant to acknowledge but is well known about when searching internet forums. It's caused by the signal strength being too strong and this overloads the TV's built-in receiver. The solution to this problem is to buy signal attenuators to install between the satellite cable and the back of the TV. I had to buy 2 (at £5.50 each from eBay), bringing the signal strength down by almost 40dB. Once I'd done this the HD channels worked perfectly.

I bought this to plug in as a 3rd PC monitor (Netflix etc), with my Nintendo Switch and Retropie as well. I had read some stuff about backlight bleed, delivery bumps affecting screens and such from around a year ago but mine arrived perfect. Gaming with it is a joy. No lag/latency at all. Breath of the Wild, which I had just started playing for the first time, looks amazing. I have bought a couple of 4k movies on amazon to see what they look like and to be honest I can not tell the difference between them and some Netflix content (yes, Amazon stuff was definately 4k and no, I do not have the Netflix 4k package...yet). I think this is largely due to going to a good 49" TV from a good (but old) 27" Samsung gaming monitor. I am still amazed at the difference in quality of picture. There are enough picture settings to accomadate different room lighting, gaming mode, cinema mode, but for BOTW Vivid mode makes the game really vibrant for me. At the time of purchase I did not realise the TV comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in, so a few accessories now live in a drawer! I guess nowadays this is standard, but the last time I bought a big TV was at least 10 years ago and it was crap and a LOT more expensive. If I had to pick something to complain about I can only think of the lack of a remote (needed). Luckily for me, I had a 5 year old LG remote and it turns out it does everything with this TV. No need for the semi-expensive magic remote unless that floats your boat. I do not use Alexa etc so can not comment on that, but for the price I would challenge anyone to find a better screen. For me, 10/10 very happy!

Perfect TV for bedroom at amazing price Picture sound quality is good to say the least and takes seconds to load up from where u last left it ...YouTube /netflix/ prime etc .. Been using my Bluetooth headset which connect straight away . Only downside I found is the power cable is a bit short (1.5 mtr approx);if you mounting your Tele on wall and socket is a bit further down away from wall but easily fixed by buying a longer one

Straight of the box I knew this was a premium well-built product. Not some cheap piece of junk by some unknown company sold at an unusually low price (for a reason). Here's a list of pros: - Snappy user interface with Freeview, Freesat, NowTV, Rakuten along with all the other well known apps and services like Sky, Amazon, Netflix and more that can be downloaded. - Clean UI in general, easy to read font, large on screen and good clear programming layout. - Sharp display at 4K HD, with different lighting and contrast options. - Black is actually black, not grey. - The sound is warm, clear and rich, especially when turning on the enhanced audio option. (didn't need to buy a Soundbar in the end). - 2xHDMI inputs are on the side, 1xHDMI on the back. This is great for wall mounting. Overall I'm very happy with this TV, having been lucky to get it at great price, would recommend and buy again!

This is my second LG tv and the only issue is the remote; I prefer the “Magic Remote” for ease of use when using the Web OS and search features. Aside from that, the television is excellent. The processor speed is superb and the picture quality is amazing - I always use cinema mode. Incredible quality for a great price
