The Koogel Explosion Gift Box is a really creative and fun way to make a personalized gift, but the assembly was a bit tricky at first. Once I figured out how each layer folds, it became much easier. A clear instruction sheet showing which side to fold would make a big difference for first‑time users. I found it easiest to design and decorate each part separately, then assemble everything at the end—this made the whole process much more manageable. The included stickers and glitter pens are a great addition. Since I ordered the red box, which is quite dark, the glitter pens were actually the only ones that showed up clearly when writing on it. Overall, it’s a lovely, customizable gift box with great accessories, just be prepared for a little learning curve during assembly.

I think this gift box was great for the value, it was able to hold a lot of pictures and other things. The instructions were a little bit hard to follow, but it wasn’t too bad and it ended up being pretty easy. Took about an hour to put together. The quality is pretty good, the paper it is made of is thick and the stickers it came with were a cute bonus. Overall this is great for any occasion, I used it as a Christmas gift to my grandmother with just a bunch of family photos as a keepsake.

I had a very hard time putting this together and the instructions were very vague. I came back on here and watched the video which did help, but it still took a while to finish. Tape is also not good had to use my own. Although I had problems I am very happy with the end result and my partner loves it as well!

I ordered this as a gift for my fiance for valentines day. It is super cute except now it is falling apart and needs to be thrown away. If you are planning to try to keep the gift box, I would save your money and get something else, but if you just want it to put a gift in and need it for a short period of time, it is worth it. It is A LOT of work to put together, took me hours. It isn't hard, just time consuming. By the time I had the box put together, I was so over it I didn't even want to decorate it. But my fiance liked it so that's a win.

I absolutely loved the result! Everything came in very nice packaging. The only thing I’d say about it is that it came with a little bend in the material, BUT I just folded the crease out and it was good to go!! The instructions was 50% easy to follow, so I went to YouTube University lol and found a very easy to follow tutorial. It’s sturdy to a certain degree, but when you add your pictures it makes it a little more sturdy. Make sure you purchase your own double sided tape, you’ll thank me later! I added wrapping paper and other embellishments to make it pop! I made this for my fiancé for Valentine’s Day and I’m super excited to give it to him. I believe he’s gonna love it!!

Unlike others my kit arrived well packaged. I ordered this item along with something else so they came together in a box. I watched the video the seller posted several times to help construct the boxes and layers. It did take me some time to figure it all out. I left the video running and paused it as I folded and constructed all the pieces. I purchased some additional paper and decorated the snot out of this. I think I ended up adding 40 plus pictures to the box and you can easily add more. The box came out beautiful and my guy really loved it! I added personal notes and spent about a week putting this together. It's such a crafty and unique way to gift someone. The only feedback I would leave the seller is it would have been a lot easier and more time effective if the pieces came marked so I didn't have to figure out what was what. I did purchase an role of double sided tape just because i got tired of peeling off the top of the tape that came with the package. The tape that comes with it worked just fine was very durable. My suggestion would be to figure out how you want decorate the box before taping all the layers together. I wanted to go back and add decor paper to some of the layers but the tape was so good that I would have ended up ripping the paper apart to add paper in some areas. Love this idea! It's truly a great gift option!
