Louisville Slugger 2014 Youth Hard Maple Baseball Bat

The maple is very strong and the bat looks awesome! This bat was purchased for my 9 year old son, and it is great for batting practice and at the batting cages. The smaller sweet spot on wood bats has helped him hit better in games when using a big barrel bat. Take this bat to the batting cages and prevent damage to your expensive metal/composite bat from the dimpled balls while becoming a better hitter at the same time.I recommend getting the foam style grip tape. It will help take out some of the vibration that hitters experience when they hit the ball wrong with a wooden bat.

My 8 year old is using this bat for practice to strengthen his swing for Little League, where he will use a regular aluminum bat. He also has a fascination with wood bats so the whole "strengthen his swing" pitch may have been a creative angle, but it worked. He loves this thing and can hit practice balls a long ways. It is quite a bit heavier than the ash bat he had before that broke, so I am hoping this one lasts longer. It is a beautiful bat and he is proud of it. I would recommend this bat.

Needed a wooden bat for my son and his team to play in an end of Summer wooden bat tourney. This was a great value, and several of his teammates used it as they couldn't find viable options quickly, or ones that were affordable.

My son used it twice and it split in the middle of the barrell.. didn't even last 1 game.

This bat was purchased for my 10 year old, he loves the bat. The bat is made with perfection and handles very well. My boy is extremely satisfied.

Intruders beware! Good weight and length for keeping under the bed in case of a burglar. And no need to worry about stains!
