Ordered 100 of these Plastic Champagns Flutes for a toast at my upcoming wedding. 4 out of the 100 were noticeably cracked at the base when they arrived. My fiancee and I shrugged and said that wasn't too bad...then we noticed the company had sent ANOTHER whole box in the shipment. I don't know if they saw the cracks or just screwed up and sent an extra, either way, we're very pleased!They look like glass from about eight feet away and are lightweight. I'd not want to carry around one for a whole evening, but for a 5 minute toast they are perfect (and nice and cheap!).

Fantastic, heavy duty plastic ware, I used them for the guests of a small informal wedding hostessed at my home. There was no need to use glassware for guests during the bride and groom champagne toast, so i shopped first at the usual neighborhood Party Store. Since they didn't have them, I knew my best bet was smile.amazon.com, and I was right. They were here within 2 days due to my Prime membership. I couldn't believe how heavy duty they were. I expected, flimsy throw away glasses, but I was wrong. I gave them to the bride's daughter to take home for use during her parties. They were so durable they kept their clean shine even after a good dishwasher cleaning. It was a good buy.

This is one of those products with a rating that boggles my mind. I bought 3 packs cuz I wanted to save a buck. When I opened them for an outdoor party I did not realize the flutes were in two packs of 5 loosely wrapped in plastic in the box. I took out the first pack of 5 and because there was no easy-to-tear area in the plastic, I pulled hard enough to break the bases off two flutes. I opened the second pack much more gently by starting a hole with my teeth and ripping it open- only to break the base off one flute. I thought I better be more careful yet and snip the next pack with some scissors. I grabbed the first flute to pull it out and guess what?! Yep- I was holding one half of the base in my hand. It broke at the seam running down the middle of it. I picked up the broken bases and gave them each a squeeze- I could literally crush the plastic bases between two fingers. I realized the plastic is grossly thin, hard and brittle with no give or flexibility which makes it extremely fragile. Luckily there were just enough flutes left for my guests. I quickly poured the bubbly and began my toast only to notice the Champagne running down my friends arm. His glass had a crack down the side and it wasn't along a seam, it was smack in the middle of the flute. One thing I can say for certain is, if you're planning on using these for more than a single toast, you'll find you'll be kicking yourself for not heeding this review. Still scratching my head over the positive reviews.Nutshell- Just drink out of the bottle...at least the liquid will make it to your mouth.

2 of the cups were broken (one wouldn't stay in the base and the other was cracked) but luckily I only needed 8 flutes. They got the job done.

First off, I LOVE that these champagne glasses are one-piece and not two! They are the perfect size for mimosas and worked perfectly for the bridal shower I hosted. I expected thin, cheap, and flimsy for the price, but I got a nice surprise when I opened them and they were nice and durable. I highly recommend these! I will be ordering more for future showers/parties that I will be hosting.

At first glance the product seemed good enough, but after taking out all of the flutes we noticed that they seemed pretty scratched up and a couple of them were cracked. I did expect some of them to be roughed up due to the fact that they are packaged in a very thin, flimsy box that offers very little support or protection to the product.I'm giving this item 3 stars because it did do the job and if you're looking for disposable flutes these are a step up from the 2-piece ones you assemble yourself. If you're needing a certain number of these, make sure you buy extra in case any of them arrive chipped or cracked (my only complaint would be to fix the packaging).

I thought these were great! I had a brunch birthday party and needed something for mimosas. I got two boxes, and they held up great during the party. I washed them and will be using again for sure. They have a slight seam on them, but I didn't think they looked cheap. They held up well, and I wasn't ever worried that the base would come off or they would crack from normal use. They were sturdy enough for an indoor party but I would worry about them blowing around if you were outdoors. Just something to consider. I would buy these again if I needed to serve a lot of people.

While a one-piece plastic flute is a great idea in theory, these are NOT worth the trouble. Only a few in the box arrived broken, but the bigger problem was them leaking from the bottom. Unfortunately, I discovered that the warnings about these flutes leaking were true. Thank goodness I also saw the review that suggested sealing the bottoms of each flute with a glue dot — THANK YOU to the reviewer who provided this remedy!For what it’s worth, I ordered these same flutes from a different online seller, packaged in smaller quantities, and all of them were perfect! I ordered these because I needed more, but didn’t want to pay the high shipping for the other product. Live and learn.

bought these for an outdoors party, they did their job very well, easy to assemble, the bottom would stay after assembled and very reliable, sturdy enough for the 3 hour event. will buy again if the occasion requires it.

Hard, Sturdy plastic it says....hardly! Soft amd flimsy is more like it. I've bought higher quality similar items at the dollar store for much less. Reusable? That's a big no. I split one while washing for the first time after receiving them, and being very careful not to do so might I add. I would give these 0 stars but they do get one for the shape and style ....similar to real flute glasses. Would be good to use as throwaway party favours, but aren't good for much else
