I have another brand of coconut coffee that needs to be brewed, but I wanted to try something instant. This has sweetened and coconut & mocha flavors. It’s has kind of a thickened base, like very rich hot cocoa, but it’s really good. I will certainly buy more in the future.

(from 2016 or earlier): I got hooked on this product when it was available at Costco! It is no longer carried there, however, so now the only place I can find it is here on Amazon. However, the price has increased significantly! I now consider it an indulgence, and only order it every now and then. If the price were to go down, I would make it part of my daily regimen and re-order it regularly....When I used to drink it daily, one canister would last about two weeks. If it were more affordable, I would give it the full five stars. It is that good. UPDATED REVIEW (A Year or Two Later in mid-2018): I am a huge fan of this coffee, and got hooked when it was available at Costco a couple years back for 10 bucks or less. When they stop carrying it, like many other fans, I went to Amazon. The price had jumped up to about 20 bucks or more a canister!! I stopped ordering it due to the excessive price, and decided to find a new coffee. Here I am, a couple years later, trying it again since it is now down to $12 a canister on Amazon. Here are the changes that I have noticed in the most recent reviews: the ingredients contain milk protein and is no longer Vegan, and the directions for a regular cup of coffee includes the added 2 ounces of milk from your own refrigerator. As I remember, the original product only required hot water and the powdered mix. That was it. Now you have to add 2 ounces of fresh milk. I followed the new instructions exactly, and the result was a very small cup of coffee (see photos for finished product and new ingredients / directions label). In the end, I think it tasted just as good as I remember. It’s just not quite as simple because you have to add fresh milk. However, I would buy it again if the price stays low like this. The only thing that tastes slightly off is the coffee seems a little more bittee than I remember. But, the rest of the flavor makes up for it, and I still think it’s just as good.

Definitely a great coffee alternative without the negative side effects and tastes pretty great

Someone recommended this coffee to me so I was eager to try it out. Right when I opened it a nice whif of fresh raw conconut is what I smelled with a bit of coffee. I tasted the powder to see what that tasted like and it is not bitter like coffee, and tastes sweet with a hint of coconut. I poured hot water in my mug and with two heaping spoonfuls and mixed it up. The aroma of the coffee is very nice. I am happy that this mixes well and is not greasy like if you would had put a spoonful of coconut oil in your coffee. It is nice and sweet and probably a bit too sweet for some people, but in general I think people do like coffee to be on the sweet side. What I Like: mixes easy no clumps easy to make tastes great What i dont like: does have a hint of a instant coffee flavor not fresh brewed I will probably use this in my fresh brewed coffee to add some flavor to it. I am very happy with my purchase and I am buying the other flavors they offer.

When drank alone, it its way too sweet. I thought I would be okay considering I like sweet stuff but it was way too much. It makes a very good creamer, though! I only have to use less than a table spoon and it works perfectly. It's less like coffee and more like a cappuccino, so if you're into that stuff I would go with the mocha or unsweetened. (See my picture, much more like a cappuccino) People are claiming that this helps them lose weight... Well compared to my coffee and creamer, there are more calories in this stuff than what I'm used to. There are differences in the types of sugars and calories vs empty calories though. I would say that if you're used to getting a Starbucks latte or cappuccino or frappucino every day, then this is certainly a much healthier option which potentially could help you lose some of that extra weight (Starbucks is okay once in awhile, but they add a lot of sugars and syrups to their drinks that are almost unnecessary). I really hope this helps some of you make an informed decision!
