Doesn't get the best results for brushing but MY needs are met.
V-WHITE Ultrasonic U-Shaped Toothbrush When putting the toothbrush in I noticed that the U shaped design did not reach my back teeth completely/properly (which is my most difficult area in my mouth to get clean) so just setting it (V-WHITE Ultrasonic U-Shaped Toothbrush) onto the teeth and leaving it to just do its thing was in no way going to get them all cleaned despite the video on Amazon showing that, which was disappointing. On the matter of the brushes vibration: It can feel a bit intense but not horrible, the nausea that I get by the vibration from a regular electric toothbrushes is far worse and I didn't get any nausea when using this (V-WHITE Ultrasonic U-Shaped Toothbrush), it however did leave a lingering weird feeling from said vibration but went away quickly enough to not be overly bothersome. I didn't get the gagging result nor the bleeding gum problem that the use of regular electric toothbrushes cause me. When using the toothbrush, I discovered that it's helpful to wiggle it a bit & shift to different spots in my mouth for better results, I did it at least 2xs per spot for 30 seconds (the built in timer was super useful) hopefully it'll give me more effective results, all that was still less complicated/frustrating/time consuming than trying to angle/brush with a regular electric toothbrush and I was able to see that it did in fact work to clean my teeth in some way when (starting directly after using mouthwash before brushing) it got some gunk pieces out from between my teeth with the vibration truly proving it at least does work even if not as effectively as I was hoping. When finished brushing and getting to the whole cleaning/rinsing the brush part I learned that what toothpaste you use WILL matter. I usually use some variation of the Crest brand or whatever my dentist decides to give me at my visit (because why waste it) however because a foaming toothpaste is suggested by this toothbrush I tried a gel toothpaste, my normal toothpaste, and the foaming kind. The gel one needed a bit longer to rinse out than I'd have preferred. My normal Crest toothpaste was more frustrating than even that to clean though not to the point that it became a deal breaker. Finally the foaming toothpaste was easily the only one that didn't take long or take more time than should be needed to rinse out. (it's all the rubbery bristles and what not that keeps toothpaste trapped in a bit causing a longer cleaning time) Finding one that is going to be a healthy version might end up being difficult as I discovered foaming toothpaste doesn't seem to have as many choices as other types of toothpaste, still not a deal breaker as I can just buy any kind and it'll just take longer to clean out. After using it - it was obvious it won't clean my teeth as effectively as a regular electric toothbrush. The fact it doesn't get the back teeth properly made that clear from the get go. Still it's better than not brushing at all or simply only using mouthwash as proven by the little gunk pieces that got cleaned out. So if you have difficulty with other methods of brushing than this at least will get your teeth somewhat cleaned compared to not being able to do anything but it will not be as effective as one would ideally want. If buying here's my best advice: To get actual results rather than the rather uselessness you get by just setting it on your teeth do not just hold it in your mouth like it shows in the video, shifting it to different angles after the 30 second timer works better and doing it more than once (let's say at least 2xs for each spot you choose) also will help. Also SERIOUSLY IMPORTANT: If the base isn't plugged in the cordless toothbrush WILL NOT WORK. Which fair & probably obvious to everyone else but me. I though it just needed plugged in when the toothbrush battery needed charged but it in fact needs it to be plugged in just to work at all. Better instructions would be nice, like how do you change the brush head when it eventually needs changed would be extremely useful information! For me and my needs it was worth every bit of money I spent. My teeth are cleaner and no longer dingy due to the majority of the time only being able to use mouth wash instead of brushing due to nausea.

Love this item for special needs...but poor quality & stopped working.
I bought this item in March 2022 and again recently in March 2024. It was an ideal item to help clean my son's teeth. His dentist noticed improvement after we began using this item at night and also a 3-sided manual toothbrush in the morning. We also noticed that his teeth were no longer overly sensitive on the left side. The product that I purchased in 2022 was very tricky and frustrating to charge. When I bought the same product again recently I was pleased that it seemed the charging base had been improved so it wasn't tricky to align and get the charge light on. Unfortunately, after using it for 3 weeks it stopped working. It seemed that the base was charging while the blue light faded in and out but even after charging overnight it wouldn't turn on. I received a refund from Amazon. I am disappointed because it is a great item to have to use for my son who has cerebral palsy but I haven't been able to find another similar product to purchase. I hope they will continue to make improvements to this product because it can help in the care of people with special needs and their caregivers.

Not great, but ok for those w/executive dysfunction/disabilities
I'm a little conflicted on this one. The first 45 second pass (this product's own prescribed amount of time for a "deep" clean) that I tried with this felt like it did not clean at all. So, I started recording a video for this review to show exactly what the super soft bristles are doing to the teeth. I probably "brushed" 2 or 3 more times in doing so for the video. And after that, I'll admit, my teeth did feel much cleaner. But you can absolutely see in my video that this does not clean your teeth well. It does not get in between your teeth at all. The soft bristles glide over your teeth parallel to them. I'd think to get any sort of cleaning action the bristles would have to get to a place where they are perpendicular to the teeth and be a bit stiffer. I tried to record another video to show how I load the brush with toothpaste, but learned you're only allowed 1 video. So I took screenshots of the video and hope those are helpful. Remember that with regular toothpaste, only a pea sized amount is needed unless using Sensodyne or other specialized toothpastes. With the nature of this mouth tray, you'll want that pea sized amount to be pretty evenly dispersed across the whole length, in both bottom and top trays. You can disperse it in a thin layer by threading the toothpaste opening through the ridge/channel/grooves to get down into the mouth tray. Then as the tray is in your mouth, move the tray side to side. All that being said, is it better than nothing? Sure. I bought this for my own executive dysfunction issues having ADHD. So if you have found that you just can't bring yourself to fully, deep clean brush your teeth on a daily basis, I'd say go for it. At the price of around $40, it's more accessible than other electric toothbrushes out there. Use this as often as you need to have low functioning days, then strive to use a better toothbrush maybe on the weekend, or once/day. As my boyfriend suggests, this brush may also be a better option to take camping or on a trip. I feel like our Sonicare is just as portable/usable on the go as this, so idk what he's talking about lol. Maybe takes up less space. I'd for sure use this whole driving or running out the door though, much more suitable for that than a full toothbrush. Just something to think about. And if you're a care taker for someone with dementia, or on the autism spectrum, or any other disability that has reduced a person's ability to care for themselves (as I've seen mentioned in some reviews), do not feel bad for using this if it can make your day even just a little bit easier or less stressful. You deserve to have easier access to care for yourself or another. You're doing great and you're doing enough.

A Nice Neck workout for other things. ๐
The V-WHITE Ultrasonic U-Shaped Toothbrush is designed to modernize daily oral care by offering a fully automatic, hands-free cleaning experience. It uses a U-shaped silicone mouthpiece, ultrasonic vibration, and LED whitening light to deliver what it calls a 360ยฐ cleaning cycle in under a minute. Below is a detailed look at its design, performance, usability, and overall effectiveness. The toothbrush has a compact and ergonomic design that fits comfortably in the hand. Its U-shaped mouth tray is made from soft, food-grade silicone that adjusts to the shape of the teeth. The fit feels comfortable for most people, but those with smaller or larger mouths may find that the bristles do not make full contact with every tooth. That can reduce cleaning efficiency. The IPX7 waterproof rating means it can be rinsed under water or used in the shower without damage. The wireless magnetic charger feels modern and convenient, and the battery typically lasts about a week per charge depending on use. The device feels sturdy overall, but the mouthpiece may wear out with frequent use if not properly dried and stored. The toothbrush uses ultrasonic vibrations that reach up to 48,000 movements per minute to remove plaque and residue. The vibration feels gentle and is suitable for those with sensitive gums, but it does not match the deep cleaning strength of premium sonic brushes such as Philips Sonicare or Oral-B models. The 360ยฐ tray is intended to clean all teeth at once. In real use, its effectiveness depends on how well the tray fits your mouth. Some users report uneven contact on molars and gum lines, meaning a small portion of plaque can remain. For this reason, it works best as a secondary cleaning tool instead of a full replacement for traditional brushing. The built-in blue LED light is meant to support whitening when used with a compatible gel. The light gives the product a professional look, but results are minimal if no whitening gel is used. On its own, the LED offers limited benefit beyond a mild surface-brightening effect. Consistent use can help maintain a cleaner look, though not a true whitening transformation. This is where the device stands out. Users apply toothpaste or whitening foam to the tray, insert it, press the power button, and let it run for 45 to 60 seconds. The hands-free feature makes it ideal for multitasking or for people who prefer an effortless approach. The mouthpiece detaches easily for cleaning. Rinsing it under warm water is enough for daily maintenance, but it should be disinfected weekly to avoid buildup. Toothpaste tends to collect near the center of the tray, so gently adjusting the mouthpiece during use can improve coverage. The V-WHITE Ultrasonic U-Shaped Toothbrush is an innovative device that adds convenience to oral care. It is best suited for quick maintenance and mild whitening rather than full cleaning. People who want to save time or prefer gentle brushing will enjoy it, but those looking for deep plaque removal or professional whitening should keep using a traditional brush or whitening system. Used correctly and paired with a quality gel, it can enhance daily routines and support oral hygiene between full brushings. It is a smart option for users who want technology and simplicity in one product.

Good for a quick cursory clean
This product is good quick brushing, though maybe not the best for a thorough cleaning. I'd recommend it as a morning tooth polishing tool versus something used for a night routine to get more clean power. That was my initial thought in purchasing it and outside of biases I still think it's a better intended purpose than completely replacing the manual toothbrush model. The mouth piece is reasonably sized for someone with average sized teeth and doesn't run along the gum line too aggressively. My teeth however are larger than the average person's so it doesn't fit quite as right on the back section of teeth resting over the molars, so if you have larger teeth than some that is something to consider. The packaging guide even recommends cutting to size if needed, however it rests halfway on the second molars for me. Also, if your teeth aren't completely uniform or straight you might need to wiggle your jaw a little bit while it does it's work and it should be held loosely with the teeth/jaw and firmly with your lips instead of the opposite, even if it would make more sense at first attempt to bite down on it. The included heads are a nice addition too, and the use of the tool feels natural and intuitive in hand; not quite as awkward as I thought it might be considering the shape of the device. However I feel that the brush is more child sized and unless you were just using it for touch up, it's not gonna do as great a job for a traditional cleaning. I'd say it's one of those 'you get what you pay for' kind of gadgets and if you want to splurge on an additional grooming tool for part-time use you might as well give it a try. May need a tongue scraper as well though if considering it for alternative use. Do I feel completely fulfilled in my oral care or that I have attained fresher, more polished teeth from use? No. I don't feel like I could say that honestly. It makes teether cleaner, but not as good as my Quip brush does that job. Will I continue to use it on a daily for in between meals and snacks or for my morning cursory care? Absolutely. It's convenient, intuitive and simple. The appeal of being able to let it hangout in my mouth while I ready myself for work is it's major selling point for me. Honest opinions of the product here.

Perfect, Everything I could have asked for!
I was skeptical with these as they say "Hands free" but decided to give it a go. I got it a month ago and it took some trial and error to figure out that it is NOT truly "Hands Free". In reality you NEED to use a hand to brush it side to side to get the maximum effect just like any other tooth brush but the time required is cut down drastically and it reaches everywhere! I've never been good with my dental hygiene but with this ultra-sonic toothbrush I've found myself becoming more active in that area. It's quick, easy to use and while some people complain about cleaning it, what else do you expect to use the rest of the 1 min and 30 seconds of a normally 2 minute brush? All in all I don't have to worry about missing a spot anymore because the mouth brush hits them all!

Not "auto" or greatest pick but better than nothin
This ISNT a "roomba for your mouth" - you still have to move it. Dont listen to people saying its hands free or automatic. These types usually all only vibrate, they dont usually move side to side or up and down. Also this isnt made long enough to reach far back enough for like my wisdom teeth or the back end of tge teeth before them because the U brush isnt made for reaching the back effectively when brushing side to side because teeth arent setup in a circular way. Also doesnt feel like its tall enough in the brush part to reach the uppermost and lowest parts of my teeth at the same time so it cant just be bitten down on or something like that to brush, it must be moved in almost a small figure 8 ish formation for fastest brush. Another thing is even tho the silicone bristles may be less prone to bacteria over time, the softness doesn't give as strong of a resistance/friction to brushing as regular bristles, which sometimes leads to what feels like a thin layer of grime still on the teeth. Also finally will say many dont care or dont even consider this but silicone products ar a type of plastic product and do still release microplastics with wear and tear, friction, and heat, altho idk if the mouth is hot enough for that last point to matter lol. Overall not what i wanted but better than not brushing at all

ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE! ! !
I've been fortunate to have good teeth/hygiene most of my life without the need for regimented brushing... in the past, until I hit my later 40s, I could get away with brushing every other day (haven't had a cavity or any gum issues in 3 decades) but as I approached 50, it all started to change, and I began to feel the frequent build-up of crud on my teeth if I did not brush. Yes, I was spoiled of having great genetic hygiene in my youth, so I was looking for a simple solution that I could use on the go - well, this is not that "solution" and I don't know how it rec'd even 3.5 stars... Maybe the folks who have been as lucky as me not to have hygiene issues in the past think this toy works... but for anyone who needs to be cognizant of their teeth/hygiene decline - this is not the answer. You'd have better results using your finger and toothpaste in combination with Listerine.... this garbage device isn't even worth not brushing your teeth as the outcome would be no different.. Do I love the concept? Absolutely, but my wanting to believe it should work, doesn't make it a reality. The only reality you will receive from purchasing this product is the financial loss you will suffer if you fail to return the product before the prime deadline expires... I typically don't write responses but felt compelled as a sophisticated buyer who as a family spends thousands a month on Amazon - this product is a complete utter waste of money!
