If your internet is slower than what your ISP has advertised, the Ethernet patch cable you are currently using could be one of the problems. This cable which is usually bundled along with the router or modem you have purchased is not of good quality. This cable is expensive compared to other similar products, but the results are extremely good. If you suspect the patch cable could be a problem, i would recommend this cable without hesitation.. I was quite skeptical of what an ethernet cable could do in terms of improving my wired connection but boy was i pleasantly surprised. This little nifty cable managed to squeeze every last drop of bandwidth from my ISP. Overrall i would rate this an unequivocal buy!

Wanted to upgrade my "main" network server cables, from "almost" what you get in the box with the equipment. These CAT cables are awsome! The plugs are top notch, covered, and can't be any more "perfect". Connection is solid, no play side-to-side, and lock in perfectly with my equipent. Cables are not whimpy wire, giving excellent protection and good shielding for the signal transfer. Good length for the runs I need from the switches & internet box to my main "hard-wired" systems. Nice price point value, so you can even upgrade lower bandwidth equipment, like printers and backup systems with the cost of this cable, and not feel you can get the signal quality of this cable on less critical equipment, without breaking the bank. Arrived on time and no damage to the product

The cables have a good feel to them, they feel durable and well made. The flat design is also great, it makes running the cable and hiding it much easier. I’m trying to boost or get the most out of my internet speeds, which is why I upgraded to Cat7 cables. After hooking up my equipment I saw a sizable increase in my download speeds from around 40mbps to 93 mbps. My main concern was for faster speeds for online gaming, since installing I have not experienced any lagging it games like I had previously. I would very much recommend these cables. It was a great price, and extremely quick delivery.

I only needed cat 5, but I understand that these are backwards compatible. I like that the cables are flat as well. I had my AppleTV only about 4 feet from my comcast wifi router, but I would have to restart the AppleTV at least every couple days to get another signal while I was wireless. Also, the speed would vary quite a bit while wireless, 6-30Mbps. Since my router was so close, I tried to stay wireless for several years. After I installed this cable, my speed jumped to a rock solid 96Mbps and I have not had to restart the AppleTV even once. All the apps and shows launch immediately. This cable made a massive improvement.
