The table is perfect: it's modern, elegant, not too heavy, not too light, well-constructed, and a breeze to assemble. The service at Amazon, on the other hand, was a DISASTER. I am still trying to resolve the matter 6 weeks later! So even though the table is just what I had hoped for, I will not be buying from Amazon again.

Very sleek and modern look, easy to put together. My only comment is, the description says espresso, which it is not. Its really a very dark cherry wood. But, otherwise, I love it.

Very modern table. Color is expresso finish. Other reviews say color Is off but they are color blind. This sells 4 times the price at target.com. Great value and great quality

This coffee table would've been nice if it wasn't sent to me with a bent table leg. The item description said it was in GOOD condition. The wood on the table was chipped and the 1 leg was bent.

I agree with the other reviewer who says that this coffee table looks much better in person. I had been searching for a simple, elegant and utilitarian coffee table for my "man-cave" (enclosed patio) where I could set down drinks, food, remotes for my electronic gadgets and other stuff. It would also needed to co-exist with my dark brown, Strathwood Griffen wicker sofa, which was also recently acquired from Amazon. This coffee table is perfect. At a height of 15 inches, I can sit comfortably in my Strathwood Griffen sofa and rest my feet on top of the table. The table is much deeper than I had thought, but it is the perfect size for my needs. I also wanted a design, which was completely open underneath the top, because our dogs like to sit with us and their bodies may be partially or completely lying under this table. My only complaint, which is why I gave it 4 stars, is the wood grain shows the bare hint of a seam. I imagine that this has to do with the veneer finish of the top, which otherwise is outstanding. Also, it looks like one of the chrome legs is very slightly bent outward. It's only noticeable if I stand and look straight down at the left edge of the table. At some point I may try straightening it out, but it's not too bothersome right now. Overall, after a week, I am very happy with this table, especially for this price. Update, August 8, 2012. I've had the table for a couple of months. We are making really good use out of it. However, I was negligent in using some poorly designed coasters, which allowed condensation from cold drinks to seep over on to the table top. Now, there are small bumps on the surface of the table where the water has intruded into the surface veneer. Otherwise, it's holding up well.
