I followed instructions and was able to open the lock but now I cannot (did not have a chance to change the code yet). Should I return?

Go past the numbers a little bit and hold the button back when locking and opening try that before returning. I had trouble first few times also Example. I sent on number “1” but have to set past the one in-between the one and the next number. I was swearing up & down someone reset my combo on me LOL

Yep. it looks like a hygene bag. The numbers are hard to read on the combo. (but that is part of being descrete.) 2 thumbs up.

Same issue - lock broke on my bag after 1 week. You will have to break the lock to get it open.
