I LOVE this corset! I have only had it for a few weeks and haven't worn it for a long period of time, but I expect it should work well for tight lacing and waist reduction. I am 5'5", about 128lbs. My underbust measures 29", waist 27" (measured snug, not too tight), hips 36". Originally I ordered the size medium, which did fit nicely, but I was able to lace it closed completely on the first try. This might be fine for some people, but this is not going to reduce your waist size over time (which I would like). I exchanged for the small, and the small is perfect for me. When lace tight I have about a 2" gap all the way down the center back. As I continue to wear it I am hoping to have my waist reduce a bit, and the corset should eventually close at the waist at center back. The quality for the price is petty incredible. I have never seen anything this sturdy at this price!!! The busk is steel and reinforced with steel stays on each side. The center back has 2 steel stays on each side of the grommets as well. This seems like it will hold up to a lot of wear without bending over time (I have had this problem with other cheep corsets!).The rest of the corset has steel spiral boning throughout, which will help it hold its shape but flex to your curves. It feels like the small pieces of boning that reinforce the grommets at the hips are plastic, but that is fine in my opinion - its such a small piece it shouldn't warp over time. The overall feel is amazingly sturdy. I have such great posture when I have it on! I love the length of the corset - it certainly eliminates any muffin top or bulging you might have on your belly/hips. A cute surprise is the lining - it is white and grey leopard print! (On the medium it has a little blue in it too). I think it's a nice detail to have. It's fun, and you can't see it at all once the corset is on and laced. The lacing up the center back is nice and long and sturdy. The lacing on the hips is just regular poly satin ribbon. I might want to replace that at some point to a stronger lace but for now its fine. Overall, amazing buy for a beginner corset! It's a great way to get a feel if you like wearing corsets without investing a ton of money. I'm so glad I made this purchase :)

The quality is truly fantastic for price. I definitely recommend this for any purpose that you might be looking to use a corset for - including waist training (note - this is not the type of corset meant to exercise in. Please do your research if you're looking into waist training!). The material is soft and the boning is strong enough for long term wear. The sizing is off. Following the measurements I was between an XXL and XXXL. I read a ton of reviews and decided to go with an XL and I'm glad I did! Here are my sizing recommendations: - If you're just looking to wear this 'comfortably' as a costume or in the bedroom or whatnot - I'd recommend looking at the size based off your measurements and going down one. - If you're looking to use this for waist training and/or are following a weightless regimen and want this to last more than your first week, I would recommend looking at the size based off your measurements and going down two. Getting into it: as with most undergarments, this does not come with instructions but if you're not experienced in wearing real corsets (not the cute hook and eye closure 'fashion' ones) you will need to look up how to get into this. I suggest looking up 'putting on a self lacing corset'. This is luckily already laced (albeit upside down - so you'll want to eventually fix that). The general thing to know is that you DO NOT lace a corset like you would a shoe. There is a very specific way to lace it. You won't be able to get this on if you try to start with it tight. You have to loosen up the laces so it's very easy to close, and then pull on those two lace spots where they're horizontal (looks like a screw up in the lacing), then go and pull the lace x's (like you would a shoe) and tighten the top - pull the middle, and repeat from the bottom to the middle, pulling those middle laces again. Repeat until it fits how you'd like. Again - I highly suggest watching a youtube video for getting into a self lacing corset if you're new to this. AND watching a video for how to actually lace it since this comes laced upside down (mine came with the 'tie' end of the laces at the top. They should be at the bottom) Overall I highly recommend this corset. I'd definitely order this again and wish they had additional colors and an overbust version.

I bought this 5 months ago, so this is just an update so far. It's incredibly sturdier than I thought and it hasn't broken or damaged yet over my 5 months prolonged use. For its price, it's pretty well made. I got this corset to shape my waist but it surprisingly helps my posture and back tremendously so now I just use it whenever I have back pain (which is constantly). I ordered a medium and I have 31'' waist, it fit surprisingly well and I have noticed my waist look and feel smaller whenever I take it off. Now lets get into the cons, I would definitely try to find another similar product if you are short with a small torso, I'm 4'11 and the bottom pokes my hips whenever I sit, I've gotten bruises around the front of my hips because it's so long for my torso, this is definitely made for taller or at least avg height people. If you aren't knowledgeable in corset wearing, use baby powder or some sort of lotion before use unless you plan on wearing something underneath because when you take it off it feels itchy (this is common in corsets in general, not the product itself). Conclusion: Other than the poking, it still helps tremendously with my back pain so I'll continue to use this product for it's money worth.

Great quality corset. The size chart provided by the company is super accurate. I did size down 1 size because I have been loosing weight and needed a smaller size corset after only a month so I didn't want to spend the money on a super expensive on from the ren faire and I didn't want to have to buy a 3rd one in a month from Amazon. Dispute sizing down I can still fit into the corset without a problem, but I wouldn't recommend doing this unless you are loosing weight actively. If I weren't loosing weight I would have but my proper size based on the provided chart. Despite being significantly cheaper than the steel-boned corsets at ren faire, it is still equally nice quality.

I was recommended and XL by Amazon bc I measured at a 34inch waist (174lbs, 32DD in bras and an XL in shorts) but I decided to order down a size (L) because of other reviews since I want to tight lace, and I’m really glad I did! I love mine, from the style, to the fit to the length (I’m 5’4 with a short torso) and the quality of material. This photo is of the corset 3 days after having already “seasoning”/wearing it slightly loosely tied (snug enough that it hugs me but loose enough that i don’t get back folds and etc so I’d imagine when i was tying it, it would’ve measured the XL aka 35 inches) for about 18-20 hours a day (lmao I tried to wear it 24 hours a day but end up taking it off in the middle of the night so I can sleep comfortably hahaha) At this point (day 4) I’m wearing it far more snuggly, (at about 33 inches, I’m guessing, only because I CAN close it to 31 or 32 inches but choose not to for comfort’s sake and bc I’m trying to avoid getting muffin top around my back/bra strap area hahaha) Once I can lace the back fully closed without getting too much excess back fat and/or I loose weight, I think I might consider coming back to order a M or S so I can get my ideal waist line.

It’s definitely smaller than your daily wear, I’m a size 6, the medium was too snug. Great quality though and I am returning for one size up although I wear a medium and even a small at times.

I'm extremely self conscious about my body and have a wedding coming up and thought I'd try a corset and I re tried a dress on and it made an AMAZING difference I now feel alot better about going to the wedding I bought 2 sizes down my waist is about a 40 and I got a XL and based on the guid it said I needed a 3X which sounded crazy to me clothing wise I wear a large and thought 3X seemed like it would have been to big and I was right the XL fits amazing for me It will take some time to not struggle with tightening it and the clips on the front are a but of a pain but totally worth it

I’m writing the review I wish someone else would have posted. I ordered the satin solid fabric corset in size XL. I took pictures showing the actual measurement of the corset. The top measurement is actually 17” when properly stretched flat. The waistline is 15” & the bottom edge is 19”. The lacing is only 5 2/3 yards. A longline corset’s lacing should be 7 yards, so you’ll need to buy new laces. The boning was actually steel (checked with a magnet). The construction is very sturdy. The tag on this corset says that it’s 90% polyester, 5% cotton & 5% elastan. The Amazon description states that the inner material is two layers of cotton, so either the tag or the description is inaccurate. I decided to return the corset & instead buy one from an online shop that makes their own corsets in the USA. For $30-40 more it’s worth it to know that what I’m purchasing is quality material & breathable.

Taille bien, effet sablier réussi, laçage solide et baleines rigides mais pas trop. Je suis contente de cet achat et je recommande.

Lo compré para usarlo bajo la ropa... pero es tan bonito que no puedo esconderlo. Muy buena calidad de los materiales y yo cogí la talla S ya k mis medidas permitían esa o la M y de todas solo queda más abierto por la parte de la cadera pero me gusta así. Muy recomendable.

J'ai achetée un M sachant qu'il allait être un peu plus petit que ma taille, puisque je voulais vraiment que ça affine et grâce au lacets derrière, une fois bien desserré il correspond parfaitement à ma taille donc je pense que un L ou un M conviendrait dans tout les cas pour une personne faisant bien du L. J'ai perdue beaucoup de centimètre en tour de taille. Mais attention ça gêne un peu si vous serrez trop pour respirer, boire, manger.. Mais pour porter pour une soirée je recommande, à long terme.. A voir. Bref la qualité est là, ça redresse également le dos et donne un effet push up aux seins (si soutiens gorge porté bien sur.) C'est un peu cher mais vu la qualité.. Je comprend.

Das Korsett gibt mir ein super stabiles Gefühl und man gewöhnt sich sehr schnell an die Schnürung. Schon nach 2 Wochen kann ich es deutlich enger schnüren, als am Anfang- es lässt sich fast schließen. Deshalb habe ich jetzt die nächst kleinere Größe bestellt. Ich bin ein Fan und finde die Ergebnisse jetzt schon der Hammer! Jeder, der sich unsicher ist, wie ich: do it, ich bin richtig happy :-)
