Microsurgery that worked!
This little bottle of somewhat expensive glue saved the day for me. I own a pair of very often used Swarovski binoculars who suffer from the same flaw as many binos: the rubber rings on the eyepieces come off. They snag on other equipment or on clothes or straps or foliage or whatever; off one goes, and very often off the other goes, too. I have lost one or both rubber rings several times in the past, have gone up and down hills, back and forth in trails, into the forest, eyes riveted on the ground looking for them like some disfunctional bloodhound. And luckily have always found them. But in my last trip they were lost so frequently I gave up, removed them both and put them in my backpack -- issue to resolve later. Using the binoculars without the rubber rings was quite uncomfortable, but there was nothing I could do about it. Very good Swarovski customer service recommended this glue to me and I went for it. It's a messy fix because the glue is very liquid and the area to be adhered is narrow and round. I ended up with glue on several fingertips and nails and it was a pain to remove it (a mixture of vinegar and sea salt proved most effective, rubbing the fingertips with the salt while they were immersed in vinegar. My fingers went from black to gray, and the residue came off in the following days. Nail polish remover, varnish remover, alcohol and other substances didn't work at all, and I almost lost my fingerprints trying to come up with something that got that black stuff off my fingers). But the glue worked. I left the binoculars standing with their eyepiece covers on overnight, and on the next day the rubber rings seemed very solid. And then I went on one more trip. After 3 weeks, the rubber rings are still in place, firmly adhered to the metal eyepieces. Kudos to Loctite!

Used for Pool Cue tips. Works excellent.
I've used a version of this glue for over 15 years on my pool cues. The Loctite Black has never failed when used for securing a leather pool cue tip onto my cues. When removing an old worn out cue tip, the tip must be sliced off with a very sharp razor or hobby knife, then as much old glue as possible is sanded off the ferrule until the ferrule and wood on the tip is exposed.. A light coating of Loctite on the prepared leather tip and shaft, and press the shaft onto the tip while centered for a half a minute. Allow to dry/cure overnight with the shaft facing down onto the tip. The following day, just finish the tip shape and it will not come off. Have never had a tip break free whether I was using a break cue, or my playing cue. Solid and secure.

Saved our Muck Boots
Muck Boots are necessary survival items where we live and they take a beating snowshoeing, ocean wading, spring flooding, and they need periodic maintenance that is as tough as they are. Loctite Black Max 380 fits the bill. I have successfully repaired detached soles, tears and other problems. The most significant repair was a large sole detachment repair which has lasted nearly 2 years. I find that the key to a successful repair is thorough cleaning of the surfaces (soap, then water, then aclohol), thorough drying after cleaning (I usually let the boots dry for 24 hours) then application of glue and applying pressure (I usually wrap the repaired boot area in duct tape, or clamp if possible) and finally let the repair cure for 24 hours before using the item. If you skimp on any of this you may not have as successful a repair as you want.

Holds well
Initially works well and holds front sights on shotgun. Seems very secure but only been a few days, so only time will tell how well it holds.

Scope mount
Had to weld a scope to my shotgun. Couldnโt get it done by the time I needed to leave. I put this stuff on it and itโs last 1k rounds over the course of 13 months.

Second time a charm....
I originally had the opportunity to try this when it came in a new OEM sunroof weather stripping kit. It was bonding plastic to stainless trim but over the course of several years the weather stripping shrunk leaving a gap at the ends. It apparently didn't prevent that from happening but am giving it another shot by applying it differently to another kit.

Excellent adhesive
Used the loctite 380 to bond a metal collar to a polymer stock. Held the metal collar in place. No issues whatsoever! The product has excellent impact resistance. It takes about a minute or so to set so you have enough time to apply to areas that needed bonding. Will definitely, some more should I ran out of it!

Great for bonding metal to rubber... not so great for plastic
I needed a product that would bond a metal plate and a bolt to a rubber bumper component on a classic car. This product did the job well. Once cured it was able to hold the plate in position and withstood the torque put on it while I tightened a nut onto the bolt. Was in a blind location that couldn't otherwise be accessed so this glue saved me a lot of grief. It also allowed me to repair and re-use a damaged bumper component that was obsolete and there was no affordable replacement part available. Very impressed with the rubber to metal bond. Tried it on plastic with much less success (recommend using a plastic specific epoxy for that application). Set-time for a "super glue" is a little long but gives you time to adjust and clamp items... crazy expensive but did the job that other products couldn't so I'm pleased with it. Delivery was very quick too.
