How good is the microphone? how do you sound to the other end? like an npr broadcaster or something less?

Overall, sound is good. I've been told that my audio is clear although sometimes it is obvious that I'm on a speakerphone - not bad or unclear or distant or anything, I think it's just the normal speakerphone thing.

Can these be connected, ie for example connecting 3-4 together in a conference hall for multi-table Q&A?

Sennheiser SP30 doesn't have a feature to daisy link or connect 2 or more speakerphones. It can be wirelessly connected to two devices at the same time. You can also manage two calls simultaneously. Calls can also be merged in a conference by pressing the accept call button for 2secs.

Is the speaker phone full duplex?

Qualified yes. I use it for several hours a day. When I'm on conference calls I can hear others and I be talking at the same time and they can hear me. Same with 1:1 communications. It seems like it is Full Duplex. However, when I saw the question I looked at the specs and I don't see "full duplex" so then I wondered what "duplex performance" really means. So if it is not full duplex in terms of technology, I don't know how they would "fake it" so well. This is an excellent piece of hardware with excellent duplex performance.
