Electricians Last Resort but Best Friend!
Purchase Date: 19DEC15 Purchase Price: $13.54 Update: 02OCT16 and 23JAN18 While remodeling our bedroom we thought we could mount a TV with stand on a certain wall and hide all the wires with no issues. But...then of course many different issues arose and running the wires in that wall would cost way too much to professionally do and to do it myself well was not worth all the work and headaches. The last alternative was to use Wiremold CMK50 for a neat look. Item is very well packaged and internal dimensions of the Wiremold are 7/8" x 3/8" which can accommodate a good amount of wires. 120 inches = 10 feet total. After reading the reviews and watching YouTube I was hooked. Make sure to wipe down your wall prior to installation. The adhesive on the Wiremold itself is very strong and once it is set it is not easy to remove. Measure everything twice and cut once as they say! Have a level tool handy so that you install them straight (having a second person to help is great). After your measurements you can use a hand hacksaw and use a little bit of sand paper if you want to clean the edges after cutting. I purchased a flat plug extension cord for a more sleek and clean look (see pictures). I also switched the wall outlet (180 degrees) so that it would face the correct way for easy connection. Beware: Please shut off homes electrical panel breaker for that room prior to doing this - for safe measure test the outlet after shutting off the breaker with a outlet tester to make sure there is no power running to it. You will be surprised sometimes at how you will shut off the breaker for a certain room but there might be a outlet or two that are still running power because its connected to the room on the opposite side. Taking your time makes the installation a snap. Already purchased a second order for a couple of other things around the house. (PICTURES ATTACHED) UPDATE: 02OCT16 No problems with the product or its quality. UPDATE: 23JAN18 I accidentally hit it with my laundry basket and (sad face) let me tell you...the sticky backing took a chunk out of the paint. Approximately 4" by 4" round. I had to repair my wall, sand, paint, and re-install. Use caution this glue stuff is tough. Please Note: I did NOT receive any type of incentive to write this review. This review is my honest opinion after doing much research and purchasing this product for use. Prior to purchasing any product I conduct thorough research. "Was this review helpful to you?" if it was please select "YES" below. Thank you! :)

Hide Wires Professionally and Impress others with your Wire Management!
As someone who is super organized and hates hanging wires, I have found one of the best wire management concealers out there. These are so convenient and easy to work with. Sure, you have cable ties, velcro straps, and wire management sleeves, but this will give you the best clean look for hiding wires (see photos). Practical and ease of use: I can't express how easy it is to simply remove the back tapping and attack it to your wall. The tape is very durable but be careful when removing. I feel like if you remove it too fast and hard, you may take paint with you! I used this to hide the wires coming down from my TV. Moreover, I used it for wires that would follow the molding in the room to hide as much wire as possible. I would say 2-3 would be the maximum amount of wires you can hide in the wire mold. I did not need to use the bridges to connect one wire mold to the other and did not do any kind of cutting as the size was worked perfectly on its own. Although it does not look too hard to cut. Besides, any cuts made can be concealed with the bridges anyway. Overall, I really like these and would continue to purchase them to hide any wires throughout the hours. At first I thought the price was high but after using it, it is well worth it!

Fixes Ikea OMLOPP LED cable spaghetti
For reasons I don't fully understand, Ikea undercabinet lighting does not daisy chain - and installations are never as neat with cords as they are in the store, especially if a contractor installs the cabinets. But this product fixes that. It's exactly the width and height of an Omlopp LED bar, which means that you can run these behind the OMLOPP bars, and with the right "entrances" and "exits" cut in, you can make a clean installation no matter how many wires are there. You will eventually mount the unit behind your LED installation and parallel to it, so that the open part faces you. An "entrance" is a slot cut through the base (the part with the adhesive, from front to back. Do not cut the "cover." An "exit" is a notch in the front edge of the base. It will take some practice to see how wires go in and out (it's actually quite easy once you get the hang of it. When done, snap the lid shut, peel the backing paper off the adhesive, and push up. The nice thing is that as long as you confine your cuts to the "base" portion, even messy cuts will not show because they will be behind (and sitting up against) the lighting unit. I am faulting this a star for being made of a material that, contrary to the mfr's suggestions, is not easy to cut with any degree of precision because the material flexes, twists, and spalls (it's actually too small to clamp in cheaper miter boxes). For notches, you can use a wire nipper (looks like a bigger version of a scissor type toenail clipper) and flex the material back and forth until it snap. You can also use a drill to make a hole and connect it to the edge with two cuts to make a round-ended slot. If you crush part of the locking ridge while cutting, you can correct that with a kitchen knife (just gently straighten it out). All in all, a great product, and one that has finally saved me from the frustration of poorly engineered lighting. Just buy twice as much as you think you will need if doing something that requires precision.

Great for hiding cables and wires
These were bought to hide my surround sound speaker wires across the living room. I purchased one kit before measuring the length in which I needed so of course I ended up being short. This Kit Includes: 4 - 30" CordMate II Cord Channels, 3 - C59 Couplings, 2 - C56 Flat Elbows, 1 - C57 Inside Elbow, 1 - C58 Outside Elbow, 1- C51 T-Fitting. This means you have 120" of cord cover. I used a saw to cut these to certain lengths and the plastic held up very well. It didn't split, break, bust or fray the ends to make it look unprofessional. With the addition to the couplings, elbows and fittings you can run these very professional looking with no cords poking or hanging out making your living room or other place areas of the house you have cords look like crap. This is a very nice alternative to tacks or coax cable clamps you nail to the wall. It's a more expensive alternative but the look you get with these really pays off because it reduces clutter. There seems to be plenty of room inside the cord channels and I was able to place two separate 18 gauge speaker wire into this without any issues. What many other comments fail to mention is the fact that these can be unsnapped from the side to allow you to add or remove cords more easily without having to run them from end to end. This was a nice bonus as I had already run the cords and had them hooked up prior to receiving these. They came white but are easily paintable to match any room / color you have and makes this is a nice addition to have with these. I will note that prior to applying the sticky side to the wall I use alcohol to wipe down the entire area I would be placing these to clear up any dirt or debris. This tends to be an issue when sticking anything to the wall and you should follow this step to ensure that it lasts for awhile. These can be used not only for speaker wire but ethernet cable, HDMI cable, coax cable, power cables and anything else you can slide into this. I would like to add that these do have limited space inside so you may not want to use these for every cord behind your TV / TV stand or computer desk. Once you do decide a place to use this and stick to a surface it adhesives very quickly and you only have a few seconds to decide if that's where you'd like it or not. I'd go ahead of time and make specific spots you want to place these to avoid any crooked placings. All in all a very nice product and so far so good!

Does the Job accurate and Awesome quality
One of the best investments that I have made for my Home projector and screen. I am using it to hide my wire from the projector and the screen and I am amazed by the quality and usability. Definitely a no brainer and I would suggest everyone to pick one if they intend to do so or they are in for the market for a perfect wire hiding solution. Just one thing to make sure is be very careful when you stick it, because once you done its bit hard to take off without having issues with the paint. but if you try good you can take it off easily. I made a mistake of pulling it apart and my paint got peeled off. Its my mistake though. It sticks perfectly and no issues with coming off from wall and all. Make sure you use it in a smoooth finished area. its really easy to cut as well for your conveneince. I used a box cutter and its really easy for me. Even though its little on the pricier side I won't mind spending it because the end result is so good and satisfying. Definitely a recommend.

Great if you have a long straight line and not a lot of angles (too much extra straight channels)
First, this is a great item. It worked extremely well to hide the wires in my living room from the outlet to a wall mounted television. I was able to fit the power cord for the television, ethernet cable and coax into the channel. It was a fairly tight fit and was a little difficult to get the three cables to line up next to each other through the whole channel, around bends, etc but once complete it is a testament to its very thin profile. The cuts were easy to make and the adhesive is great. I don't think any of the channels will come off the wall. The angles, extensions, T and corner channels are not adhesive and snap to the long channels which are secured to the wall. The only gripe I have with this product is the quantity of each component you are given. After completing my project I have almost 3 full long pieces, the 3 extensions, inside and outside corners remaining. I used the one T and both angle channels for my project so if my next project isn't all straight around corners the extras are pretty much useless. It would have been great if they included an extra T and angle channel and removed one of the longer pieces so there wouldn't be so much waste. Overall a great product but I'm on the fence if I would purchase this same SKU again since I would have even more parts going to waste. It feels like the intent is to get you to buy more packages if you need the T and angles but I would definitely buy another if the quantities were more balanced.

Perfect for my house
I wasn't about to begin running cables through my walls, so when I went to create a 7.1 surround system in my house I knew it would be a challenge. My significant other was not keen on the idea of wires all over the living room and after researching wireless option I realized it was defeating the purpose of buying a decent receiver so I started looking into cable hiders. I had never seen these so I bought one set to see how they worked. When I got them there are four tubes just under 3 feet long and plent of adapters to connect tubes or go around corners both ways. There is even a t-junction which turned out to be very useful then I had to mount one of the side speakers on a wall. It is peel and stick and the instructions say not to use it on a textured wall so I was concerned as my walls are all textured. I tried one of them and not only did it stick but it was a little off and when I tried to move it to realign it I thought it would never come off. I got it off and realigned and believe me it is secure there. I bought another two of them thinking it would be enough but I badly underestimated and ended up needing a total of 6 of these to do everything but when all is said and done it looks great. I mounted my tv on the wall and used one of these instead od the big ones they sell for the tvs as with my receiver setup there is now only one hdmi cable and a power cable coming down the wall so this was plenty big enough. I am happy and she is happy that with this setup my living room is perfectly clean looking.

Does its job well, made with quality and it sticks pretty well!
I bought a Benq W1070 projector way back and only until this Christmas break I was able to gather all the materials needed to mount it. Came across this well reviewed wire duct set and it was the best purchase yet. Made with quality material and very sturdy. If it was not for the thick AmazonBasic HDMI cable, I could of put more wires in the duct. I had only put two cables which is the power cord and the HDMI cable, I have a Promedia 2.1 speaker, I used a bluetooth streaming device to connect the audio to my laptop. The backing is very sticky (good and bad), it held the thick and heavy AmazonBasic HDMI cable quite well against the ceiling, the bad part is, I don't know if I will run into trouble when trying to remove this later on. I tried to paint the duct to match with the wall color and for some reason the paint does not want to stick, brush painted the ducts all over for three times before the installation and I think it still could have been better. Overall I think this is a good a solid product, it served its purpose very well! I highly recommend this product to people that wanted a clean look to their TV/AV/Projector applications without having to intrude/penatrate the wall.

Item received in good condition but packaging.
Item received in good condition. But MY GOD the packaging was so unnecessary. And on top of that the irony of “our boxes now use LESS MATERIAL” 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Awesome cable keeping solution
These were a breeze to install, and in my opinion, look great. It was between these cable keepers and doing some pretty deep explorative work through our drywall and behind the brick of our fireplace, so we chose this. As mentioned in other reviews the price is really steep for 4 plastic + adhesive pieces, but they did their job perfectly. An additional note is that we had a flat power bar cable and a very thick HDMI cable running through the channels and they just barely fit, so space is limited. The straight line measurements between my TV to the outlet are approx 12 feet.
