I am actually pretty happy with this brush for the almost week I've been using it! The bristles are good and stiff, so they were able to get through most of the layers of my hair, and it does a seriously terrifying good job of volumizing. Or floofing, in my case. Easily remedied with a little spritzing with water. Or not, if you're into floof. There are a few cons to the brush, but nothing that should stop you from buying it, should you be looking for a nice brush to give yourself a nice scalp massage/shine to your hair/add volume... and other such things. There IS a smell that comes from the rubber bedding that the bristles rest in from using recycled rubber. However, if you let the brush air out after unboxing, the wafting odor goes away. You'd literally have to stick your nose in the bristles to be able to smell the rubber scent again, and it doesn't brush the smell into your hair. Believe me, I've done just that, much to the angst and irritation of my poor snoot. The bristles are juuuuust slightly shorter than I like, but it still grazes the scalp enough to give some nice stimulation (a pretty darn good itchin' relief) to your scalp. I know most people are used to a brush giving the full on scritchin' experience to your scalp, but I find that usually a lot of that, no matter how delicious it feels, usually makes my hair uber oily. Other than those very little things, it's a good boars bristle brush to invest in, I think!

I have fine, wavy shoulder-length hair. Likes to get especially tangly around the back. Anyone else in this camp knows that finding products/brushes/styles for this type can be borderline excruciating, but this brush works very well! Pros: The "naturally conditions oil" claim seems to be a valid one, i do feel that i need to condition less frequently and oils are more evenly distributed from root to end using this product Experiencing significantly less tearing, snarls and general despair than when brushing with other types My hair is shiny and smooth, and I have to spend less time styling if i use this! Cons: Has less "grab" than non-bristle brushes; I often have to comb first or separate sections more than i would have to with a standard brush with longer "teeth." That being said, the end result is worth it!

I have long, thick, straight hair and my hairdresser told me that I was getting flyaways because I washed it too frequently. I've always washed it at least every other day, but more often than not, every day. She recommended I get a boars hair brush because it redistributes oil down the hair shaft and makes it look clean even if it's been a few days since washing. After one use, I can say that I'm a believer! I went three days without washing my hair and it doesn't look clumpy or dirty. It's true, the bristles of this brush are very short - they definitely don't penetrate my thick hair all the way to my scalp. BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT THIS BRUSH IS SUPPOSED TO DO! If you use it for what it's intended to do, it's a great purchase. Also, it feels amazing on the scalp!

Bristles were too soft to brush through hair. I also have an oval mason pearson brush, but wanted a larger size. The two are not even comparable. This is soft like a baby brush

I read the reviews but I should have taken them more seriously. The size and feel of the brush is exactly what I wanted however the bristles began to fall out immediately during the first time I used it. They fall out constantly even when I run my fingers across them. I'm very unsatisfied with this soon to be bald brush.

Love this brush, after i use it, it makes my hair shiney. This type of brush is suppose to be better for your hair, so it wont damage the hair and i know for sure that is what it has done and the shine it gives is beautiful. I have very long thick blonde hair down to the middle of my back and it gets damaged easily, so i am thankful i made the purchase. Also i love the style of this brush, wood handle and not your average round shape. Very nice. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants healthy hair. The shipping was even fast, i received my brush in just a matter of a few days, and it looks just like the pic.. Thank you and a job well done to who made this..

I bought this because of race reviews. The issue with this not working for me is that I have dense thick Indian hair (touchwood) and when I brush through with this the bristles are a) soft which is great for medium to fine hair but they do not penetrate through the hair for me b) the bristles are not long enough to go through the scalp all the way. The result when I brush through I feel like I am only brushing the top later of my hair without spreading the scalp oil trough out the head. It is great for fizz control and makes hair look put together but I don’t get the satisfaction of this penetrating through the scalp to the ends. If anyone here has a recommendation for a brush with hard bore bristles that are long enough to penetrate thick dense hair I would love to try it. Thanks!

Ich habe oft das Problem das meine Haare schnell fetten am ansatz und habe mir deswegen diese bürste gekauft weil ich gehört hab das wildschweinborsten das fett in den haaren besser verteilen soll. Bei mir Hilft es sehr gut und meine haare sehen nach dem kämmen am ansatz nicht mehr so fettig aus und sie wirken glänzender Ich kann dieses Produkt nur weiter empfehlen für leute die feines/dünnes haar haben und fettigen ansatz haben

Muy bueno . Es de la modalidad suave , es decir no es pelo duro y es muy útil para aplanar el pelo y quitar esos rizos rebeldes que se niegan a ser "aplastados" cuando te haces un recogido.

I got this brush for better oil distribution from roots to tips on days I don't wash my hair. For this purpose it works great. It seems to take some time to break in or warm up as nothing seemed to happen for the first week or so but it has been fantastic since then, a very noticeable difference. On days my hair would normally look greasy and I would use dry shampoo, I am now fine without and my hair looks normal and healthy. This brush will not get knots out of hair - I still use a tangle teezer for that before brushing with this. For context I am in my 20s with fine hair that's half curly/half straight that goes about 2 inches past my shoulders. I brush from root to tip all over my head for one minute in the morning about two minutes at night before bed. I recommend this product.

I love this brush!!! It makes your hair super soft and shiny. Like salon quality. It doesn’t pull or rip hair out like other brushes. I always get compliments on my hair after using this!
