Bought this after comparing with Bosch, Dewalt because the price was cheaper and had all the features. The quality is impressive and the accuracy too. I used it on finger joint board (hard wood) and the results were fantastic, could cut long straight cuts with ease. Overall a great buy if you are on a budget.

Good tool!
For first time user this is an excellent product. Cuts through plywood easily and nicely. Not tried it on hardwood yet. The angle of the blade with the base is not perfect square. Has to be adjusted externally. After more use - I found that the blade is not square with the base and its not possible to do so without modifying the base. I have attached it to a home made table and using it as table saw - I was able to achieve near squaring using three washers. And the blade is not 36T but 24T. The saw is shaky - at the places where it is attached to the base and hence will not provide accurate 90 degree cuts.

Powerful tool,but easy to handle
Professional quality saw from Stanley Fatmax range. Though Stanley power tools are not popular in US or Europe, they have noticeable presence in India and other Asian countries. Powerful saw but very easy to handle and you won't feel the weight. Using a circular saw for the first time. Did not face any problem in assembling the tool. A thorough reading of the manual is a must. The manual gives very accurate instructions for assembling and making adjustments. Learned to use circular saw by viewing several Youtube videos. Tested on plywood and the saw gave neat, precise cut. The product is made in China for Stanley Europe. Since I have not used any other saw, cannot comment on the quality of the machine. However I did not find any fault with the tool or the accessories. Happy that I got it at a 34% discount during the sale, when the product is not easily available in the local market. Thanks Amazon and Cloudtail India.
