Great resource for men. I m a 30yr old guy, no kids and wife (as yet). Reading this in preparation because I’m getting serious with a young lady in my life and want to start gathering information and insight in preparation. Overall as far as I can see, men are failing all around me and many of us don’t realize it’s because we are lacking the power of God because of indecision for Him or being lukewarm when we do choose Him. I want to be action oriented, firm in my convictions, not idle, progressive in my career, passionate in the way I love, protective of my family, WISE, level-headed and so much more. These assets (in their fullness), can only come from a personal relationship with God. This book won’t give you that relationship, but it was definitely very helpful in getting me back on track and exposing some new insights. If you are older than me, it’s not too late. If you’re younger than me, even better! Men stand up. Great book. I would definitely recommend.

i bought this book as i am going through a family crisis in my life. i've made mistakes, i was not the best husband, father, son, brother, Christian man i could be. I ordered this book in July when my wife of 5yrs love of 8 years walked out the door with our 3 beautiful children. i didnt know what to do. i didnt know how to get her back. Most importantly i didnt know where to start in correcting my mistakes. I do not have the awesome success story that movies are made of. But this book is a sincere wake up call to all Men of Faith out there. This book is a gift from GOD to set me up on solid ground as i walk in faith in with him. I am working on rebuilding my life one day at a time and I now have the strong burning desire to be nothing more than a True Kingdom Man of GOD. I dont know where my future lies with my family but i trust that GOD is always on time. At the young age of 31 i've seen my share of pain. This book will help to ensure that with GOD on my side i will not see more pain in the future. Whatever you are going through or if you are simply to improve yourself as a man. This book is a must read!

This book was an excellent read. I purchased the book in order to use as a reference for my Father's Day sermon this year. However, after further reading I found that it not only spoke to the men in my congregation, it also encouraged me as a woman and as a pastor. I felt lead to teach a series on it. I must admit that I was a little reluctant because I wanted it to be received from the men in my congregation being that it was coming from their female pastor. I gave my concerns to the Lord because I really wanted my men to walk away as empowered as I was after reading this book. I want you to know that the men would come to me after church and dialogue about some of the things they heard during the sermon(s). The women in my church responded and told me the changes they could see in their spouses. However, what I found more surprising were the compliments I received from the little boys in my church about the series! OMG, they were listening too! God is so AWESOME and I thank God for using Dr. Evans to write this book!

I have started plenty of books that try to tell you how to be successful and they are boring because it is always just stuff any success man already knows. This book explains why it matters. Very helpful for me.

Few people can communicate, as well as Tony Evans, what it means to be a biblical man in 2023. The principles he outlines in the stories he tells are hard to ignore and impossible to refute But I have one area of disagreement: christians need to stand for the kingdom of God in the political realm. They need to vote biblical values and run for political office and openly address the moral and in the in the political realm As Christian Americans, we have a constitutional authority and responsibility to influence our government in order to love our neighbor. When our neighbor is being threatened by on difficult laws and policies, Christians must speak up and must act and must vote accordingly. I wish Tony Evans had said that. I know it is controversial for Christians to say things like that, but America is in a crisis deeper than it ever has been And only the church can fix it. The church needs to speak lovingly and prophetically to the political world and call for a return to the biblical values of our forefathers, and the typical values of the Bible. So that God can bless and protect America again. America is under the judgment of God because of sin. only the church can call America and America‘s political system back to righteousness. One of the ways we do. This is through our vote and through our words. can you do nothing in the face of evil is its self evil. Silence gives consent Christians cannot longer afford to be silent. Our country is being taken over by things that should not be.

What a comprehensive book that leads you in the way of biblical truth and manhood. Here is purpose for men and their involvement. This book is awake up call. And some was a slap to the face. A push forward. A soul stirring. Let us as men not stand around any longer. We serve a Mighty God and He is desiring to work through us to advance His kingdom. Not only is the book impactful, but well put together with resources. It would seem nothing has been left, other than it is time to work. I am looking forward to reading each of these books and implementing the biblical examples in our men and church. This is the real calling upon believers.

This is a brilliantly written book, challenging Christian men to live up to following Christ … in their personal lives, families, church, and communities. Making a difference that reflects God’s purposes for our communities. A must-read for all Christian men!

This is a book you can actually recommend for a man to read. If this book were a man it would be a Bible carrying man (leather of course) with a beard every other man would envy as he drives his entire family to church for the mid-week service even though he lead the family in morning devotions only hours earlier. Has to be one of the most practical and Biblical books out there on how to be a man of God (beard or no beard).

This book illustrates the role of men in life, in the family, in the church and with our LORD GOD and Jesus Christ at our side through the Holy Spirit. Faith, Purpose and Destiny are net in one book. I Pray for thus message to be shared and taught to all men of all ages and of all races. God Bless
