Ironwood Pacific AnchorLift Pro Anchor Puller with Buoy

There are two reviews here, one is on the buoy itself, it is heavy duty vinyl and should last for years, it does an excellent job of lifting the anchor from my 19 foot boat. The second part of the review is for the line holder which is attached to the buoy, it is well made does a good job of holding the anchor rope when being retrieved. However, it is important to know that the line chock, will tend to keep the anchor off of the bottom. Perhaps it was my inexperience in using this type of retriever, but you must allow the anchor to drop completely and get a good hold on the bottom before allowing the buoy to go overboard, if not, the line locking action will prevent the anchor from reaching the bottom and securing a proper attachment.

This product works great for me. I'm not worn out pulling up the anchor several times now. I do have to reach over and lift the anchor up for the last 6 feet due to a rode /chain combination I use; this can be a little challenging since I cannot pull it straight up on my anchor roller. It appears to made well. I would perfer that the hardware the attaches the ball to the lock be stainless rather that coated metal. ( eyebolt, washers, nut, and pair shaped carabiner ).

Great quality and can lift a ton of anchor lbs. Works great, love it. Plus I'm 70 years old and a 2 year old can lift the anchor now.

Amazing product well built very sturdy

Came quickly and complete. Great product. Works great. Makes pulling anchor a breeze in the mud that I anchor in. One person can pull anchor easily with this setup.
