this is THE BEST!
From my first bite as a child, I was addicted to anything coconut, and this is THE BEST!. I used to eat it right from the bag as a kid. I've tried other brands, but Baker's is unsurpassed for flavor and texture. It is tender, sweet, juicy and SO good! I do so miss the canned product they used to make and sell. (Baker's, please bring back the canned product.)

Delicious coconut flakes !
These packages were much cheaper from Amazon than buying them in the store, and the coconut flavor is delicious. They were just a little sweet to me, but I don't eat much sweet foods. I have used the coconut flakes in baking, and also really like it mixed in both hot cereal and cold cereal, and especially as an added ingredient in granola. I also use some of these flakes when I am making a smoothie, and it adds the wonderful coconut flavor to the smoothie, and sweetens it just a little bit at the same time. They are easy to store and come in bags that are just the right size.

In baking
Fresh soft moist and sweet. I’m new to baking but I would say these are great for baking. I toasted them before adding to my cookie dough n they added a nice texture to my pina colada cookies . Although, I would opt for the unsweetened next time because they added too much sugar & even with fresh out the fridge dough they spread n didn’t hold the thumb print shape I was hoping for. However the cookies were delicious n I still got the cherry jelly in every bite which I was aiming for. the pieces of coconut added that extra pop of tropical texture I was hoping for. Great quality. Imo the bag is small but i could get a few batches of cookies made from it

Baker's cocunut is alwasy soft and moist!
I have always used Baker's Coconut for baking as this is the best coconut on the market! It is so soft and moist and lightly sweetened. Some of the other brands are way too sweet and overwhelm the recipes. Not so with Baker's. Even when you put on top of cookies or cakes it browns nicely and still retains it's moisture. Can't ask for a better coconut for my recipes.
