Great primer for amateur tobacco growers.

If you are looking for guidance on your own tobacco this is limited help. It is a fairly interesting historical reference of tobacco farming in the past. I'm not sorry that I bought it but it wasn't exactly what I expected.

Good read for those looking into tobacco gardening!

Poorly printed, edited, and full of useless information to fill pages. Don't buy if you want a guide to growing, curing and manufacturing your own tobacco...

Very interesting from both a historical and practical perspective; very useful book for the home tobacco grower.

Suggestion for anyone looking to get into growing their own tobacco: get this book, read it twice then plan your course.This book is well written and comprehensive. In the interest of full disclosure, I am a rookie with tobacco growing. However I'm sure I will find things over the next five years growing that I will have wanted to know ahead of time, but that's the nature of these things. Either way, this is a great start.
