Countdown Clock Old Timer's Time to Go Retirement Clock

This is a small countdown clock...it comes with several faces to use with it (birthdays) and a brochure with which you can order other fun events to use it with (holidays, baby being born,etc)...it is in motion constantly counting down the seconds...so even during the most boring or frustrating day, I can see the time passing! I plan to leave it at work so the next person to retire can use it next...very pleased with it...

I received one as a gift before I retired. It made that for away date seem real-watched the days go down every day. It now has been passed on from retiree to retiree. I have purchased another one for a couple who plan to retire at the end of the year. It is a great and uplifting gift for such a small price !

This clock is a fun idea for someone close to retirement. However, it was a little smaller than I envisioned.

I can't believe I spent $$ for this novelty item. Labor and material probably cost the company only $3 to manufacture. It is a cheap piece of plastic with a liquid display. I could have bought a decent watch for the money I spent on this thing. The company has poor customer service, too. I received one which was defective. The warranty stated that you can return it for repair or replacement. So, I returned it to their repair department (it cost me $5 to mail that thing). Little more than a week later, I received the same defective clock again which still wasn't working right. Stay away from this item and spend your money on something else.

This clock is less than 4 inches long, and you have to hold it up to your line of vision to read the data on the front screen. It is quite cheesy and cheap looking. I found the exact same clock on other web sites for up to $10 cheaper than it is on this site.

This is a nifty little clock with a removable face. It's a bit smaller than the photographs make it seem, so you need to understand that it's meant to be read from just a couple of feet away, not from across a room.My clocks have gained a couple of minutes over the last 40 days, so you'll probably need to adjust the time periodically. Since all three of my clocks have done this, it appears to be a common problem.Other than that, the clock does a nifty countdown and my co-workers always smile or laugh when they see the seconds counting down, down to the tenth of a second.No matter how tired I get at work, seeing this clock is an instant pick-me-up.

I got this clock for my schoolteacher sister. It was fairly simple to set the time and retirement date. (You should probably hang on to the instructions.) Actually, it was harder to determine the exact retirement date. But once everything is set, you just look at the clock and see the days. Great fun for anyone approaching retirement.

Gave this as a birthday gift to someone who will be retiring on his birthday in 2012. He absolutely loved it, and has shown it off to co-workers many times.Very easy to set, took only a minute or two to have it ready. The display is clear and easy to read, and the product came with additional faces so it can conceivably be used for another purpose after the retirement has come and gone.
