Hill's Prescription Diet t/d Dental Care Dry Cat Food

Missy cat loves Hill's Prescription Diet t/d Dental Care Dry Cat Food. In addition to her regular food (Purina kibble and a moist cat food from Costco), Missy gets 4 Hill's T/D kibble pieces 4 times each day (sixteen in total). She'll be 5 years old in a couple of months. So far, the veterinarian says Missy's teeth are doing great. [Missy also likes to chew cardboard when she gets the chance (not often). Maybe chewing cardboard also helps with cat oral hygiene.]

Great product, keeps kitties teeth clean, and leaves them with a soft coat.

Vet suggested this product to clean my cat's teeth to prevent a vet visit to clean his teeth. He showed me what to look at to determine if successful. I have looked at his teeth and low-and-behold, the teeth are cleaner. This has become his dry food permanently.

My cat likes it enough (if she has to settle for dry food, which I say she does), and she was complimented on her improved dental health at her next vet visit!

My girls have some signs that they could have dental issues later in life, and it was recommended that I put them on special food to prevent it from worsening. I tried to mix it into their old food to ease them into it, but when I checked on it later there was only the old food left. They completely demolished this prescription food. I cannot personally comment on the flavor of it, but based on this I can assume that cats enjoy it. It is a bit pricey for a small bag, but most cat food is expensive.

"Save This Resealable Bag" is written on the plastic bag containing the food within the box. However: There was no way to recycle the recyclable bag since there was sticky clear tape wrapped all over it--which is too bad. The food looks fine, though.

These are veterinarian prescribed dental treats to keep Buddy from getting gingivitis. He won’t eat wet food, so she prescribed these as an alternative for dental hygiene. They work (he hasn’t had any dental issues for three years) and he must love the taste because he regards them as treats. They are large enough that he has to chew them — he can’t just swallow them whole. So, they are easy to use. We have a food dispenser and mix these in with his regular kibble. It fits through the dispenser without clogging it. Definitely recommend.

My cat absolutely loves this food! She's usually pretty picky, but she took to it right away. I was worried when the vet recommended a prescription food for her but the cost was great, Her dental health has stayed stable and no signs of worsening issues since we started using it. Highly recommend for any cat needing dental support

A great addition to our cats diet. They eat mainly wet food. We give them dental kibble after. 6-8 pieces each for teeth cleaning.

My cat's tartar on the tooth has improved.

I ordered a lot of this and really help maintain their gums, it’s just too pricey.
