5 stars. I wish I had tried these shirts years ago.
This shirt fits exactly as expected. It is a "Compression" fit, so it is supposed to fit skin tight. So others reviewers saying it is too small or too tight simply didn't know what they were buying, and should have purchased a "fitted" shirt. It is the best undershirt I have ever worn, and I will be buying more of them to replace all of my old cotton undershirts. There is four distinct advantages these Under Armour shirts have over cotton: 1: They are cooler. I sweat less, and that is always good. 2: If I do sweat, they wick the sweat away quickly and dry incredibly fast. (unlike cotton that stays damp for hours) 3: They have some sort of antimicrobial tech that actually keeps the shirt from getting stinky. (I have worn the same undershirt multiple days in a row with no adverse odors) 4: The compression fit of the shirt actually has a slimming effect. Number 4 was actually the reason I decided to buy this shirt. I'm nearing middle age, and I'm not in as great of shape as I'd like to be. Ever since puberty I have had "man boobs" Even when I was in good shape, and had very little body fat they were there.. Now that I have some extra weight, they are even more pronounced and noticeable, causing me to be self conscience and uncomfortable almost all the time. This shirt doesn't make me look like I'm in shape, but it does flatten the flabby parts of my body just enough to make me feel quite a bit more comfortable. There is no logo on the left breast as in the pictures. It is located on the bottom right of the shirt and is hidden when tucked into pants. I am happy they chose to relocate the logo on the newer shirts. Even though I use it as an undershirt, I don't buy clothes that make me a walking billboard for a brand. Under Armor is not paying me to advertise, so I'd rather have nondescript clothes. These shirts are in fact genuine Under Armour.

Excellent exercise gear
It the world of workout gear, there are times when you can buy the store brand, or the cheaper version, and there's no difference. The biggest exception is under amour's heat and cold gear. This shirt is heat great. It is designed to keep you cool when the weather gets hot. When I go for a run, I always throw on my under armour. Cold gear is great up to about 50 degrees, then it's time to switch to heat gear. A few things must be said. First, buy the size you always buy. I'm 6'1 180lbs (yeah, I don't exactly look like the guy in the ad), and I always buy large. The large fits me perfectly. Keep in mind, it's called compression gear for a reason. It should feel snug, quite snug. It acts as a second skin, wicking away sweat, keeping you cool, but it in no way restricts your movement. On an average run here's how it works. When you first put it on, if you're not used to it, it may feel a bit strange. That's ok, just go with it. Throw a running shirt over and head out the door. After the first mile, you probably won't even notice you're wearing it, as you really start to heat up, for me that's usually mile 3-4, something strange happens: I feel comfortable. Yes it's hot out (let's say its 70-80 degrees), but I feel cool and comfortable, relative to how I feel without the compression gear. By the end of the run, there is a noticeable difference in how hot I feel. It keeps you cooler then you think it will (still hot, and sweaty, but it really takes the edge off). After a workout, peel off the shirt, and set it aside for your next workout. It is a second skin, it should feel tight, if it's not, it won't wick the sweat and it won't keep you cool. Finally, unlike the store brand knock offs, the under armour doesn't ride up. Some of the cheap knock offs slide up as you run so by the end it's more sports bra then sports shirt. Not so with so with under armour. It stays put, keeps you cool, and is great for serious athletes and casual runners alike. I've also worn it during soccer games with similar results. Even with all the sliding and tumbling, it stays put and keeps me cool. Worth every penny, and as always, a great price on amazon.

Perfect Undershirt especially for Military Members
These are the only undershirts that I wear under my uniform. I am Active Duty and will not wear anything else. I originally bought one about 5 years ago, and it's just like the day I got it. No rips or tears. I have since bought 4 more to add to the rotation. They are very cool and prevent me from sweating a lot in the summer. I also wear them in the winter since they are so comfortable. They fit true to size, maybe even a little smaller. They are compression shirts, so keep that in mind. I have an M, L, and XL in this shirt and can fit into all of them. They just get tighter the smaller the sizes go, obviously.

I would personally go up one size. Wish they were slightly longer.
I would definitely recommend going up one size at least, unless you like a very fitted or compressed shirt. The tactical shirts don’t have the ventilation like their other compression shirts, but these have “anti odor” with these so they are better for all day wear over their other ones. Stinks that these compression shirts are kinda short and the tall ones are always sold out. With that said, I have ordered 4 of them now and you can easily get used to the length. For reference, I am 5 foot 11in, 155 pounds, and 32ish inch waist and the large is perfect for me. Update: I just bought my 4th one as I have been wearing these everyday as an undershirt. The most recent shirt that I received has a very noticeable quality difference. It is thinner and just seems cheaper. Still very comfortable, but to me it seems like they are cutting corners on the final product.

Breathable, light weight and very comfortable
Light weight, breathable material. Gets rid of the sweat when working out. Keeps the color after several washes. Fit great and feel good underneath a tshirt. Not see through and very durable. Great value. Not tight around your neck area. I buy these a few times a year.

Different, but appreciated...
When I mean that it's 'too' small, it's a compression shirt; so it's suppose to fit snug around your body, and probably be your favorite article of clothing to remove if you're using it for work (by no means would I ever wear this shirt in bed, lol)... Any other manufacturer would recommend buying one size up; but I'm weird, so my normal size works because I love that snug feeling and the range of motion. Invaluable if you're wearing a uniform when it limits how much of your body odor transfers to the uniform, and this compression shirt is very easy to wash and store (roll em' up like you did in the Military to conserve space in your pack, and you're golden) versus the uniform (or any I'm assuming)... I love being able to work in hotter conditions and not get any funky rash afterwards, but the feeling of slipping this item off from a hard day's work is seriously the best feeling at the end of the day... It's always the first shirt that I grab when I'm getting ready to work and often the #1 thing I keep nagging myself over while I'm AT work to buy more of when I only grabbed a couple to experiment with (turned out to be a huge success in my case) and now I want a couple more so that I can work more days comfortably and be 'awesome' and heavily productive in the process...lol... My first purchase was back in 2016 and these shirts show no sign or hint of age of slowing down, unlike myself at times in my personal life...lol...

Great and comfortable fit.
It has a great fit and is extremely comfortable! Purchase color: Black Size: Large My height is: 6 FT & 1.5 IN Weight: 187 LB Build: Average/Athletic (To skip over the details, scroll down to the end for Synopsis.) The shirt had a very bad smell upon arrival so I aired it out for 2 days and then washed it with the laundry. It still had the smell after washing. Used Downy wrinkle release spray on it after the laundry not getting rid of the odor since it also contains odor neutralizer components, and let it air out for another 2 days - finally, the odor was gone. Best way to describe the odor was like a chemical version of extremely bad BO. I own many UA clothing, including other compression shirts and never had that chemical smell in any other than 1 which aired out and lost the odor in a day. Had also purchased another UA compression shirt at the same time as this one (different model, not the same neck cut) - it has a different thickness and feel to it and didn't have an odor upon arrival. Both feel great, but prefer the comfort and fit of this one over the other and even over any of my other UA and other branded compression shirts. *Synopsis: - Shirt arrived with a bad chemical odor. Solution: Wash with laundry (it may still have the smell after washing), then use *Downy Wrinkle Release Spray* (also includes odor neutralizing ingredients) and air it out for a day. Using the spray after the wash worked perfectly and eliminated the odor 100%. - It fits great and feels extremely comfortable!

Quality!?
Bought for going to the gym primarily. It rides up every time I stretch or move my arms so leaves me pulling the top down alot. The seams are slightly weak on the sides has they'll rip open & need resewing. Fabric is stretchy but the more stretched it is on the body the more issues arise. Its a silky type of fabric & isn't great if synthetic fibres make you sweat more
