Blaupunkt GTx 693 DE 6 x 9-Inch 260-Watt Triaxial Speaker System

I installed these in the doors of my '99 Miata. I mated them with a new amplifier and headunit, plus uprated speaker wires. They will need a slight spacer to lay flush in the OEM openings or about an 1/8" trim around the opening circumference (used tin snips - did this in 5 minutes). With about 150 watts to each of these, they are excellent! GREAT bass response, crisp mid and high performance too. Took a chance with this to replace my Bose factory setup and am extremely please with the outcome! Top up or down, they are a great value for this car.

I put these in the doors of my 98 dodge dakota. i traced an 8 inch speaker over the vented speaker grilles that are on the door panel. then i cut out the hole. they mount flush on the door panel, so the speaker cover/ protectors that come with them not just look nice but protect your sweet looking gloss black speakers, i have a sony cd player the one with the usb and aux. in sub out, and i also have a set on kenwood component 6.5s with kenwood tweeters in the back of my single cab. no sub yet but i may not get one. these 8 inch speakers are nearly full range, clear and clean at high volumes plenty of midrange, and i was very suprised at the amount of bass, i mean WOW i give 15 stars on the fast shipping, price, sound, quality!!! you cant go wrong here, these are so nice and they look really fancy and shiney and you wont be disappointed. these are the most beautiful speakers i have ever bought, and the best sounding car speakers i have ever heard for a 3 way!! just awesome awesome awesome. best buy on amazon!! well worth the money!!!!!!!!!!!

Service was great, speakers delivered faster than I expected. Package arrived flawless! Ok, we all know Blaupunkt is not what comes to mind when you think great sound, but these GTx 693's series are the exception to the rule. I cannot believe this rich sound with deep bass comes from these speakers. I would put these, in terms of sound quality with Infinity Reference 6x9's, that's how GOOD they sound. Now here's the bad, it's Blaupunkt, it's focus is to be driven off a regular car stereo head unit, not hundreds of watts of amps. Second, the build quality of the foam surrounds have me weary. I see these foam surrounds not lasting very long if they were to be mounted in doors close to harsh weather and moisture. I would be an even happier camper if they came with weather-proof treated speaker surrounds. Outside of that criteria, these little speakers are for the entry level audiophile who wants great sound on a budget. I installed these on my work truck, they are by far, a huge improvement on sound over the bland stock equipment that came with the truck.

These are great speakers for a reasonable price! I put them in my 2007 Ram. I had to shave a little off the top of the plastic around the center cones to get them do fit in the door, but not too much. I've had them for about three years now and love the sound!

I'm sure they sound good I have not installed them yet. The problem is there is no way to keep debrey out of the speakers. So I'm going to make a cloth cover for that reason.

Awesome speakers, clear and crisp sound and definitely worth the price. I would recommend this item to friends and family.

Replace old speakers with this new one because I bought the same brand deck so all together the are working great.

Nice 6x9's from Blaupunkt and a very rich bass which is what I like out of my 6x9's. The mid's and treble are exceptional too, I bought a set of Blaupunkt 6x9's 20 or 25 years ago and what I noticed then and now is that the quality of bass, exceptional!

Klingen ein bißchen "Blechern" aber ansonsten gut. Höhen und Mitten kratzen nicht. Der Bass ist o.k.. Betreibe die Boxen über die original Headunit und bin schon zufrieden.
