Medium Berkey Base Stainless Steel Stand Raises Your Big Berkey Water Filter System 6" Above Countertop for Easier Dispensing of Filtered Water

We ended up returning this stand and getting something else because I didn't realize it doesn't fit the Berkey we bought (the larger one) but I will say it was very sturdy and well built feeling and would have worked out if I had paid attention to the size.

Works great! Sturdy. Allows you to put a glass under the spigot.

The stand is very sturdy and fits the base of the Big Burkey perfectly. Because it hikes the Burkey up off the counter, there is small but usable counter underneath. Caveat--if you are going to set up your Burkey under an upper cabinet, this stand might make your unit too tall. Measure before purchasing.

This stand works really well with the filter I purchased. That's kind of a dumb statement considering it's by the same company and all. It's very sturdy, no wobbling or anything of the sort while in use. I will say I wish it was a tad bit taller, maybe an inch or so, so that more glasses could fit under the spigot. I have some oddly sized glasses so it's not quite right, I have to tilt them just a tad to get them under there. I've tried normal size 12oz glasses and they work just fine, so I think this is just a personal issue I will have to overcome. All in all I can see this stand lasting for a very long time given its sturdy construction.

The Big Berkey water purification system works entirely by gravity. Gravity fills the purified water container, and gravity empties it via a spigot at the bottom of the reservoir of purified water. The problem is that, in order to fill a standard-sized drinking glass, the Big Berkey must either be placed at the edge of a shelf or countertop, or it must placed on a stand. This stainless steel stand neatly solves this problem. We were afraid that, once on the stand, the Berkey might be top heavy and unstable. However, this is definitely not the case. Our large drinking glasses can easily be filled with purified water, and the Berkey seems just as stable as it was when it was sitting directly on the countertop.

Solid stand. Perfect for our Berkey Water filter. Well made and better than balancing the heavy filter on an upside down plant pot. Ha ha!

Bonjour à tous , le positif : le produit en lui même est top , esthétique , très jolie et robuste , la pas de soucis . le négatif : et la c'est bien la première fois que cela arrive , cela à été le prix des frais de port 18 euros la moitié du prix du produit qui lui faisais 35 euros . Je trouve cela honteux voir même du vol , trèsssssss déçu . De ce fait je pense arrêter mes commandes ici alors que j'étais quand même un très bon client ....
