Vortex Optics Crossfire II Second Focal Plane, 1-inch Tube Riflescopes

I recently purchased a used Steyr Professional M that came with a horrible scope. Having a few Vortex scopes already, I purchased this one. I like Vortex. They are good quality, you get more than you pay for, and their warranty ( which I have used once; my fault) is the best. This is the ideal scope for deer hunting within 500 yards. Straight forward, generous eye relief, the optics are clear and bright. The BDC reticle is my favorite: it is thicker than a target, thinner than a heavy duplex, sharp contrast, and makes long shooting or leading a moving target a quick and intuitive hold. Learn what this reticle can do and you will swear by it. Far superior to the standard duplex. I like the windage and elevation knobs are finger adjustable ( once you take the covers off). Easier than the coin slots. It is shocking how many features and quality this scope has for the price. It will hold its own with scopes costing over double the price. Have it mounted or get a proper INCH pounds torque wrench and don’t over tighten the screws. An absolute bargain for a no nonsense, great scope.

This is 3rd my Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x50 mounted on top of a 1974 Remington 700 BDL .243. This scope is very easy to see through even when there is low light condition, because I have had the best experience with lighting on 10/22 on my 6.5 when it was getting light I was able to see through my scope, despite how dark it was out. When I sighted it in on my 6.5 Creedmor at 56 yards I was curious where it was at 100 yards and I was blown away that I didn’t have to make any adjustments because of the accuracy of the scope

Works well for the casual shooter! I got mine and once sighted in its bingo all the time !

The scope is good for the price point. The edges are a little blurry. The crosshairs aren't as fine as a high dollar scope, but it has been working great on my muzzleloader, which isn't an MOA gun to being with. Zero retention has been good and it's easily adjustable.

Mounted it last night on my 6mm Creedmoor RPR (1" high rings) and did a quick laser boresight in the house. Took it to the range today and it took all of one shot to dial it into zero at 50 yds. All remaining shots were 10-ring (from a bench rest). Scope held a solid zero and nothing loosened up after a few magazines. Nice, clear optics with an easy to see cross-hair. Not sure what more you could ask for at this price point. I'm really happy with this purchase.

Beautiful telescope and great vision

Du denkst, ein großes 3–9×50‑Zielfernrohr ist automatisch besser für deine 60–80‑m‑Airsoft‑Sniper Spiel? Falsch — das hier ist eher für ~100 yd (≈91 m) und klassische jagdliche Entfernungen ausgelegt. Bevor du kaufst: Augen auf! Als Airsoft-Sniper war ich gespannt auf das Vortex Crossfire II 3–9×50 (Dead-Hold DBC MOA) — tolles Handling, helles Bild und robuste Verarbeitung. Leider: für meinen Einsatzzweck (60–80 m) eher enttäuschend. Warum? Das Dead-Hold-BDC und die werkseitigen Einstellungen wirken eher auf klassische, weiter entfernte Entfernungen ausgelegt — passt leider nicht sauber zur Flugbahn von BBs auf 60–80 m, sodass man im Kernbereich kein Perfektes Bild bekommt. Zusätzlich findet man die wirklich praxisrelevanten technischen Details (Subtensions / Parallax-Hinweise) nicht auf der deutschen Produktseite — die wichtigen Infos stehen primär auf der US-Seite. Das ist ärgerlich, weil man als Käufer auf deutschsprachigen Shops leicht eine falsche Erwartung entwickeln kann. Pro: sehr robuste, gut verarbeitete Optik 50 mm Objektiv liefert viel Licht und ein klares Bild preislich attraktiv für Einsteiger/Allrounder und Jäger Kontra: BDC/Skalierung nicht optimal Fürunter 100Meter für präzises Snipern auf mittleren Distanzen braucht man viel Nacharbeit oder ein besser passendes Reticle/AO Fazit: Tolles Zielfernrohr für jagdliche / weitere Ziele oder wenn du auf ~90–100 m schießt — aber wenn du eine Airsoft-Sniper auch auf 60–80 m und darunter optimieren willst, gibt es bessere Alternativen (vor allem Modelle mit einstellbarer Parallax oder Reticles, die sich leichter für BB-Ballistik anpassen lassen). Augen auf beim Kauf — die deutsche Herstellerseite verschweigt leider viele Details.
