Great tasting

I bought this Phad Thai mix so I could learn more about how to cook Thai food. I am trying to go as close to vegetarian as I can and many dishes at a Thai restaurant are available as non-meat versions. This kit has the rice noodles and the Phad Thai sauce. You will have to add everything else. You have to soak the noodles first to prepare. I boiled some water in a microwave oven and then soaked in a container the length of the noodles...this will be the longest step so do this first and then prep the vegetables, tofu, peanuts, etc. after that is going for a while. It's a great kit but I wish the sauce was somewhat more spicy as it was a little tame compared to restaurant version. Otherwise it was a pretty good example of the Restaurant version once I put in my tofu and my chicken-less chicken substitute that I bought at Sprouts...

this stuff is delicious and we make it regularly. local grocery was out of stock.when ordered I understood this to be 2 packages for the $10 price point. item arrived and is only a single package, which is not enough for 4 people... ruining our dinner plans. and, it's not returnable or refundable, so we're stuck.LAME.UPDATE: seller gave me a full refund for the misunderstanding of quantity. updated star rating to reflect product quality.

Excellent authentic Thai flavor! So good, easy to follow instructions. I did use hotter than tap water that had been microwaved for the noodles. Also used a package of "stir fry" veggies.. 😋

I was so excited to get this. I love Pad Thai and often get takeout from our local Thai place. I've been eating it all my life, and although the flavor varies slightly from restaurant to restaurant, this one tasted way different than any other Pad Thai I've had. I mean, it wasn't BAD, it just wasn't what I was expecting. I usually love this company and buy many of their ingredients / products. I think it was a combination of things with this particular product. I think the noodles were stale. They tasted...off. And the sauce was really thin and just didn't taste like Pad Thai. At least not what I'm used to. It's such a great kit too, I really wanted to love it but it was just Meh. We had leftovers that I would normally bring to work for lunch but, even with adding a different Thai inspired sauce I had on hand, it couldn't be salvaged. I gave it 3 stars because I have never had a problem with a product from this company and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the package was stored poorly or there was a small hole in the bag of noodles that made them go stale. I don't know if I'll buy it again. I'll probably stick with making my own Pad Thai from now on.

If you are a Pad Thai fan LOOK NO FURTHER! Taste is restaurant quality. Has excellent flavor Not spicy for the more timid. All of their curries are excellent! They also make a great Curry pastes as well.

We have ordered this product several times in the past and it is always consistently good. You can easily add items to your Pad Thai, which we do. So we enjoy this product and it meets our expectations.

I've been eating pad thai for decades; it's one of my favourite dishes. Unfortunately I live in a small rural town now and the local grocery store doesn't carry the necessities, so I was glad to find this online. But I'm even gladder that I tasted the sauce before dumping it in or my entire meal would have been ruined! (Complete with all the expensive things I'd added to the noodles.) I've never encountered spicy pad thai before and I really feel the box should have some sort of big warning on the front because the dish isn't typically spicy, and not everyone can eat spicy/hot food. Basically, I paid for an expensive box of noodles.

I’m a big lover of Pad Thai and I thought I’d try a new brand. It is tasty and serves a very big helping, but due to the volume of noodles provided to the amount of sauce given is too small and it is a very bland tasting dish. Also, no peanuts are provided. In a pinch it will do but it’s not my most favorite option.
