I've been wanting a proofing basket for a while now but during this Covid times, was pretty impossible to get, So I was very excited to find this proofing basket and even more - liked it came with the scoring knife and plastic card to work with the dough.I am so very happy with this product!The size fits an approximate 500g dough (plus the rise etc), was very easy putting the bread in and out, shaped it perfectly round, easy to clean.The scoring knife is absolutely perfect!Sharp and pointy exactly as needed so made the scoring accurate and easy!The plastic card/spatula is professional and simple to use when you're collecting and shaping the bread.Over all- extremely satisfied with this kit and planning to get the other shape this seller offers as well. Highly recommended!

The banneton is great! The brush that comes with this kit makes the proofing basket very easy to clean. I wish this came with two baskets since most bread recipes make two loaves of bread. The lame got rusty after I washed it for the first time. I’m going to go out and buy razor blades for future scoring.The plastic scraper is very handy- happy this was included in the kit!The basket itself is made it very smooth rattan- not splintery. The bread I made had nice lines and the lame did score well- I should’ve gone a little deeper.As a baseline for price, I purchased this set for $29 around 4/18/2020

Really nice bowl and Utensils But I would not call it totally splinter free, I took a piece of light sand paper and gave it a rub no problem! All in all it’s a great starter kit

I’m absolutely satisfied with the purchase. I purchased another set and this one is much more better!!The banneton is pretty the same, light weight and easy to clean. The different is in the other tools that arriving with.The lame cuts really easily compared to my old. I love that it conceals the blade with lid.I appreciate the little flexible scraper that came with this banneton. I already have a hard bench scraper but this scraper is really useful for cleanly scraping dough out of a bulk proofing container or bowl.And the most useful tool is the brush, removing any excess flour from the basket or from the loaf.So if you’re looking for proofing basket and want good quality tools, buy this set.

I have always wanted to know how to make this type of bread but never knew how to. Being celiac I didn’t think I’d ever be able to. My bread was amazingly able to keep shape and didn’t just flatten like most gluten free dough does. For easy cleaning I’ve used plastic wrap inside to bowl and then turned the bowl upside down. As long as the dough isn’t sticky it’ll work and come off without ruining the design.

Just started sourdough bread baking and needed the right supplies quickly and rather economically. The banneton in this package is fine, guessing as good as most. The brush is ok, but not a big need. The plastic scraper works well. But the lame is awful! I can't imagine why one of this low quality would be included. I can get better results just using a regular razor blade. This lame is flimsy and it has one non-replaceable blade which is extremely dull. It's almost like a kid's version so no one gets cut, nor does it slice the dough as intended. Just eliminate it in this set. Now I need to purchase a much better quality lame from another seller. Very disappointing. I would not buy this set again.

I LOVE baking breads! And I always look for ways to make it better and less messier.I’ve tried several tools for proofing, and always went back to a regular bowl, simply because nothing was better.Not this basket!I love it for several reasons. The main one being - much less mess!The basket itself fits perfectly. The dough rise nicely and is easily removed. Cleaning the basket is very quick.I highly recommend this product and will undoubtedly use it again in the near future.

I absolutely love this basket! I originally was planning on giving it to my metamour for Valentine’s Day but I think I’m going to keep it for myself.... all because my 5 year old saw it and got excited about baking bread so I had to use it instead of breaking his heart! We used it to make olive bread and it came out perfect! I especially enjoyed that it came with recipes.
