Powerful, versatile, silent. Also a nice hand warmer.
Neat little box. Can get a little toasty on top, so don't go putting it in the middle of a stack. If it's in a tightly enclosed space, you may want to think about ventilation. Runs Ubuntu 17.10 with minimal hassle; just install and go. I haven't had the chance to test the SD reader yet, but everything else Just Works(tm). The 240GB mSATA SSD and a lean OS install gives rapid boot times after the initial POST. 16GB is a hefty chunk of RAM, and in use it's been flying so far. Graphics are nothing to write home about, but the Intel HD chipset it comes with will at least do some games and 3D work. It'll certainly handle HD video, and a mounting bracket came in the box that looks made for clamping the thing to the back of a screen. All in all it's a fairly powerful silent PC, and the two HDMI outputs, optical interface, two gigabit ethernet ports, wifi, 4 USB3 and 4 USB2 ports mean this and similar boxes could be an affordable option for applications such as interactive displays and media, NAS, home/office servers and more.

Intelligently designed and (almost) allrounder box, easily re-configured with Linux, relatively 'open' BIOS making it easy.
Lovely and versatile unit -- obviously 100% silent (as fan and HDD are absent), an extremely good range of ports and sockets available, great workstation. Particularly love the fact that there are (two!) proper RJ-45 connectors to professionally and easily connect to standard networking (without the need for any dongles, adaptors, or similarly unnecessary pain). So this unit is very well thought-out overall. Easy enough to re-configure with BIOS options that are okay (even though it's all bloody-UEFI these days, but as long as it works and you can get rid of garbage-Windows I'm more or less fine with that). This fanless device is an excellent choice for running all flavours of Linux.Only downside is integrated graphics which may cause software-compatibility issues (e g Davinci Resolve and other high-end packages do not support this type of poor-man's graphics)... If you're not going for anything serious like that, this excellent and intelligently-designed fanless box is a great choice & great value-for-money ratio!

Froze after boot, sent back. Found out later was not a good deal anyway
Disappointed the gift didn't work on arrival and has been returned. Also it is only dual core. For the money I was expecting quad core. Got same spec from PCWorld with Office and licensed Windows 10. Now I regret that because I since accidentally found a Quad Core from inside-tech.co.uk with 8GB/128BGSSD, Windows 10 AND Office 2016 for £325
