There is a place to put a tea pot. What is the diameter of the teapot that will fit?

I bought a stainless steel tooth on Amazon to fit it. The bottom base size is 3 3/4 wide. Hope this helps...

What is the hole on the outside of the base for? It is shown in the 4th photo with no explanation.

Mine wasn't like that picture but I think it is a way of the fire will get oxygen from bottom, to flame what you burn inside the base. Look at my video.

How do you get the chimney pipe out of the firebox?

The only way to remove the chimney pipe is to remove the water tank above the lower section. The chimney is a part of the water tank.
