Having said that, we both really enjoy reading this book before bed. My son is three years old, and our process of going to bed is to always read a few books first. The great part about these LEGO books is that you can read one in 5 minutes or less. With this specific book, the storyline keeps both my son and me entertained, which is a nice bonus from the reader’s perspective. This book is also a great value considering the price. It’s also pretty neat to read a book about LEGO sets that we actually have for my son to play with. This honestly makes reading a much more enjoyable activity for my son since the content he is reading about he can actually ‘touch.’ Overall, I like this story and definitely recommend this book. Please note, this book is a paperback book, so it won’t withstand tough and rough activity/play. Having said that, all our LEGO books have held up relatively well thus far. Love it. Catch those crooks!

A Fun Lego City Book
"Lego City: Cops, Crocs, and Crooks!" is a fun read and my five year old really enjoyed it! The book has colorful pictures along with a funny and adventurous storyline. My son liked finding the crooks hiding on each page throughout the story as the cops had their challenge contest. Highly recommended for young Lego fans!

Enjoyed by 3-9 year olds!
My 6 year old niece said she liked the crocodiles & my 9 year old nephew liked the funny banter of the crooks. My 3 year old niece loved the pictures. They agreed it was a 5 star book.

Can the police officers prevent the crooks from getting away?
Meet Carl, Cody and Chloe, three police officers from the swamp police station, who are taking part in a contest to see which one will be named "Swamp Hero". What are the challenges for the contestants? Strength, boat building and taming wild crocodiles! However the biggest challenge comes in trying to catch the crooks who are trying to get away with the prize money! This is a fun book for children. It is colorful and full of action albeit a little corny. All young Lego fans are sure to LOVE it! Please note that at the time of writing this review, Amazon has the WRONG book pictured. This review is for what is titled: Cops, Crocs, and Crooks which has a totally different cover than what is shown! Please also note that this book is NOT suitable for all Kindles. If you have a Paperwhite then you will only be able to view it on your Cloud Reader.

My LEGO lover loved reading it!
LEGO City: Cops,Crocs, and Crooks! is a cute read for your little readers. If you have a little LEGO fan I don't you can go wrong with this cute little book! I downloaded the Kindle version to my phone for free and my little guy has read it a few times while we have been out and about. Really, who doesn't love LEGOs!

It was awesome!!! So cool!!! I love the crocs. Favorite character is the robber with the smile. The funniest part I'd when the boy cops where scared of the Croce but Chloe was not.

Not Bad, But Not Great
My 5 year old and I liked this book, but we were disappointed that the author called the alligators, crocodiles, when Lego refers to them as alligators. My 5 year old son felt the author should have known this. My gripe with the book is that it is a female character who triumphs over the males.Maybe it's un-PC to say that, but I highly doubt there is a male character in the Lego "girl"-oriented books who triumphs over the female characters in a competition. Just saying...

My son loves this set! The police sets are so fun for him. It comes with a few great pieces that compliment his other legos. So, it's definitely meant to buy with other sets of the same type.
