Did they shrink a lot after washing?

Mine did not shrink at all. And I was pleasantly surprised that the hems didn't pucker after washing like some from other manufacturers have, probably because Urban Villa's manufacturer pre-shrunk the thread for the seams in the hems.

Are these the same as the ones sold by Crate & Barrel?

Similar to Williams Sonoma (which I can't find, now).

I have not had to use any bleach products on mine. They launder beautifully and the one stain I have had came out with a quick use of a stain stick.

How wide is the colored stripe in the center?

I do love these kitchen towels. The stripe measures 2.25 inches.
