Bought these to run my 108K ultra, and they worked great, easy to fill, and lightweight. I've used them on 20k, 50k, and 100k runs, as well as all-day hikes, and they are great. I like them because they have twice the capacity of my stock bottles in my running pack. They are tall enough to drink while still in the pack and easy to pull out for a quick refill at the aid stations or in the cool mountain streams. So far so good.

I had another brand that I used in my cycling/running vest, but I found that these are definitely my go to bottles! Very nice fit in all of my vests and the long straws help me drink on the go without having to bend my head down as far. Will definitely buy again!

Check the pocket you're going to be sticking these into! I have an Ultimate Direction Ultra Vest 5.0. With the 500ml flasks and the fact that the pockets are higher on the vest, the flasks just stuck up without being able to fit all the way in. This lead me to be worried that I may have leakage or that the flask will just fall out. If I'd known that, I would've gotten smaller flasks or maybe a different brand. These flasks are great, don't get me wrong, but just check that they'll fit where you want to them to fit into.

I got these to replace the 500ml flasks that came with my vest (of the same brand). The flasks I have just have the sport valve and I literally got a crick in my neck drinking from them so I thought the taller straw might be better :) well it is! I figured out a couple of miles in that I could tuck the straw into a pocket on the shoulder of my vest to keep it from poking me in the jaw (yeah it took me that long to figure out…) and while I do wish I could get water quicker out of the straw, it will definitely do! The flask is taller and thinner than my old ones which I actually don’t like because the flask gets floppy quick and you have to shove it down into the pockets further and cinch them up to keep it from moving around but again, it will definitely do. All-in-all I love them and I’m glad I didn’t spend more! That might change down the road but for now they don’t leak and they keep me hydrated!

I bought these flask to provide fluid choices with my hydration vest/pack. The extended straws come in handy and allows you to drink with ease being the straws are right there ready to use. Please be aware, these are soft plastic flask so trying to use them without a vest pocket designed to fit the bottle will be difficult, ex: trying to run with flask in hand. Other than that the flask serves the purpose and is a great addition to use with your hydration vest.

When I first received the (bottles) I washed them very well. The first few times I used them they had a bad taste and smell, after a fee times of washing it no longer has the smell or taste. When putting the top on you have to pay close attention to make sure you have it screwed down all the way so it doesn't leak. But I am very happy with them.
