Mansfield Plumbing 630-0030 Flush Valve Seal Gasket for 210/211 - 3 PACK

Worked perfect valve seal replacement for my Mansfield Model 160 tank. I have the "white" valve and it fit exact. Didn't get it seated correctly first time ... so rotated in the groove more and stopped my leak 100%. Easy installation. This 3 pack at Amazon was $12 and other places wanted $10.50 for one.

So we have three Mansfield 210s in the house and they've been rock solid for 20 years. The upstairs one was starting to get pretty difficult to flush and mama was not happy at the leaks, so we called a plumber and he happily quoted us about $500 to swap out the internals on all three. I didn't think that was necessary so I consulted professor internet search and found some thoughts. Turned out after some investigation was the flush valve. No surprise after 20 years of sitting in water it was rotted and came apart in my hand when I touched it. So had to turn the toilet off for a few days until these arrived. The three pack was the perfect amount, value was spot on and they were very easy to install. Our 210s have a ridge that this slides onto, perfect install is being able to turn it inside the ridge. Put everything back together and turned on the water and the fit and functionality were spot on. I flushed it twice just to make sure and checked for leaks, no issues whatsoever. Mama is happy because the handle is easier to move, I'm happy because I saved over $400 on plumber costs and won't be using that plumber again in in the future. Highly recommend, as long as you can confim the flush valve is the issue with your Mansfield Toilet.

The rubber flush valve gaskets on Mansfield toilets age over time and begin to shrink, resulting in a seal that leaks water ever so slowly, usually causing an increase in your water bill. They are easily replaced (directions on the pkg.) but be careful to install them on the first lip of the base and be sure the seal turns freely in the groove, as you'll get the proper water-tight seal that way. This pkg of three is the way to go...much less per seal. Always good to have an extra around for quick replacement of the next seal that needs replaced...won't have to wait for a shipment next time! Also, use these genuine Mansfield gaskets....other brands are often cheaply made and will begin leaking prematurely. (I've tried several of the "imitators" with little success )

This is the real deal, others work for awhile. This is a great replacement just take some patience to get it to seat all the way around.

These gaskets work great on my Mansfield toilets. Unfortunately, they only last 2 or 3 years, but perhaps that is planned obsolescence.

Not too long ago I replaced my leaky seal using an aftermarket replacement from a hardware store. Worked for a few months when suddenly the seal wouldn't stay put. The whole seal would pull out of place when flushed. I had to look up the name of the type of flush hardware I had and I found a couple comments on different forums that you should only buy genuine Mansfield parts, that the big box replacements just don't hold up, they aren't as thick and won't seal right after some use. I decided to heed their warning and I bought these genuine parts seals. When I took the old one out and then grabbed the new, it was clear the difference between the two. These are thicker and feel sturdier. And it fits in place much better. The suction sealing the flush valve feels much stronger. No leaks or issues since replacing. Very satisfied with the purchase. And I have 2 on hand for future use.

I have three Mansfield toilet all installed in 1994 when my home was built. I recently noticed that two of the toilets would randomly add water during the day. I went to Lowes and bought a generic seal and it didn’t solve the problem. The seals were the correct diameter but slightly thinner. I really thought they would work I ordered three new Mansfield seals and They were a little wider than the original seals, but were correct diameter around the seal. I have attached pictures of the old grey and new red seals. You can see the new seals are a little bigger. The old seals were cupped and very shiny on the area that meets the flush tower. I can’t explain why there were issues with the ones from Lowes, but all three Mansfield toilets functioned properly on 1st flush with the new seals.

Good to have a few on hand for quick & easy repair. Very easy to replace.
