Dogs loved them
Dogs loved them. Some pieces were larger in size, but just cut them into smaller pieces.

My Dog's Favorite and Healthy Too
These are great and my dog loves them. I would admit that some of it will be dust at the bottom of the bag but when I get to that I sprinkle it on his food for an extra little treat. They are loved and they are also low fat so dogs with tummy issues can eat them without regret. :-).

The 10 oz. in the vacuum-sealed package is the best!
This has been a true lifesaver for a sick kitty! Most treats she cannot have. She likes it dry, crumbled by itself; crushed and dusted on her food, or rehydrated as a soup (crushed with water), which is great because it adds to her fluid intake!! My ONLY complaint is that the packages that do not come in a vacuum sealed pouch seem to have a smell to them that I do not like....and thus, do not trust. The vacuum sealed packages, once opened, have a lovely, fresh turkey smell! She'll eat both, though she did stop first and smell the non-vacuumed one, which she doesn't do with the other. I really hope that Whole Life continues to vacuum seal their product!

Our go-to treat!
I've purchase two of these big bags in just a couple months because we just fly through them. They're a hit with both cats and dogs! Sometimes I sprinkle some in their bowls as a little snack and can't even finish crumbling it up before they're shoving my hand away trying to get to it. I also love that they are fully cooked before freeze drying since I try to stay away from anything raw for safety reasons.

For those complaining about powder at the bottom...
I have two senior cats, one 15 the other 13. My eldest began losing weight the last couple of years and I thought it was just him getting older. I took him to the vet who informed me (after confirming with blood tests) that he had hyperthyroidism. I was told to research cat food and to only give him high protein canned cat food. After a bit of reading I found that a high meat diet was the best thing for him, so I then found this product. I'll be honest, my old cats aren't fond of change. They do prefer the canned food, but the nutritional value this has is exactly what will help my cat. Mind you, he also underwent iodine radiation therapy to cure him of his hyperthyroidism. So, regardless of their preference I've been giving this to my cats. I mix it with their canned food with some warm water. Because they're picky, I noticed they ate around the bits of turkey. So... I got a "herb" grinder and grind it up into a powder, add warm water, stir in wet food, and they actually eat their high protein turkey. Much less waste. My cat that was treated with hypothyroidism is now gaining weight, his coat is beautiful again, and he has a lot more energy. I'm sure a lot of that is his health improvement overall, but I do credit this product. And if you have picky eaters, I think the powder is perfect as a mix-in.

Massive hit!!! {update... NOT ANYMORE!}
{update} 8/24/15: What a shock... what arrived is absolutely nothing like my previous 2 orders. It's like little cubes of processed turkey vs actually turkey. They completely shatter and disintegrate in my hands when I try to break them into smaller pieces. I'm attaching a photo. In the photo, above is the bag containing the new order and below are dehydrated pieces from the previous orders. Such a disappointment!!! This just went from 5 stars to 1. :( 3/20/15 & 5/1/15: This freeze dried turkey is a massive hit with both my cat and dog. At first my cat wasn't interested, but then I "hydrated" the pieces and he went crazy. Eventually he started eating the dehydrated pieces. CAUTION: Hydrated your cat may try to rip the skin off your hand getting to it!!!

My cat loves this!
I like how they're one ingredient, pure protein for my cat. The pieces are usually a good size for her treat toy. There is some dust left over but that is to be expected. Quality item, have bought many since.

Unsubscribed due to ABSURD pricing
My rating has nothing to do with the quality of the product. My dog loves these and we were subscribed to the 10 oz. bag for years. They were a little over $30 at the time, which was a stretch but our dog LOVED them. Sadly, I just canceled our subscription. $53 for a 10 oz. bag of human grade dog treats is absurd. I can buy a whole turkey and cook it for my dog for less.
