This unit leaks out of the flower feeder. there is a pool on the ground and I saw a short stream of nectar flow out. what am i doing wrong?

My unit leaks as well. It leaks where the flower attaches to the base. I am going to contact the company and complain in hopes they will do a redesign. Other than the leaking my feeder is perfect.

Is this easy to clean the red part of the feeder?

No, it’s not easy to clean. This needs to be disassembled completely and scrubbed with a bottle brush. The tiny yellow balls actually pop open and have to be thoughly scrubbed as well. Crazy for anyone to say it’s easy to clean.

I thought this feeder was ant proof, but right now there is a 1/2 inch layer of dead ants inside the feeder. What am I doing wrong?

This feeder has an ant moat built into the red lid. To keep ants out of the feeder, it should be filled with water.

Is this feeder bee proof? The bees have taken over my current feeder.

This style is more of a bee feeder than humming bird feeder. The bees swarm the feeder as soon as I hang it. I think that the way the feeder flowers are positioned the bees can access the nectar easily, where with other style feeder the nectar is in pool or cup to far from the flower for the bees but ok for the birds.
