Question 2

Like to know the correct weight of chair. For I have to put in trunk of car. I am 84 yrs.?

I bought it for my 80-year-old aunt on the premise that it was about 15 pounds.  I did not weigh it myself but I did have occasion to put it in my SUV about ten times in one day when I went to visit her.  I am 66 and had no problem with it.  I will say that she is the youngest of her friends who are transporting her around while her broken left foot and right ankle heal.  She's says they are able to lift it quite well and, of course, my aunt is thrilled to be able to continue going out with the girls.  I also bought this chair for another 70ish gal so that she can transport her 94-year-old mom.  She is so happy to have the transport chair as it is much lighter than her mother's walker.  Being able to push her mother in and out of stores and doctor's appointments is so much faster and safer than the walker--especially when the weather is bad.  I hope this has been helpful!

Could someone recommend a wheelchair that is ideal for someone 6'1 and light weight?

This chair is good.  Light weight for me to pick up and put in the car, easy to push, but it is made for a person up to 350 lbs ao it has a wide seat.  You might want something smaller.

Does anyone know if the nylon seat is strong enough to carry around someone who weighs 230 lbs?

Amazon states 300 lbs. I can tell you that this would easily handle 230 lbs as I bought this for a relative who weighs approximately 250. That relative was very pleased with the good support in the seat as compared to the one this purchase was replacing. I hope this helps.
