What is the difference between these batteries and the other 650 mah 3.7v you sell as a pair? which batteries are better for the s1rii?

Light comes with a 550 mah battery; 650 mah will have an increased runtime.

Can I charge the battery directly (with the Olight charger) or do I need to put it into the flashlight to charge it?

The battery would need to be charged within the flashlight.

Surefire (a military/leo company) makes flashlights as well. Their RCR123A batteries are known as SFLFP123. Their price is $16 for 2 without shipping on their site. They are available on Amazon.
