Can you ear these peppers right out of the bag

Can: yes / Should: NO Carolina reapers are one of the hottest peppers in the world. At a minimum, a fresh reaper is at 1.5 million scoville, a mere tenth of what pure capsaicin would measure. This is amplified by the fact that these are dried, meaning that the scoville rating can be up to doubled. What can you expect if you eat one straight? I would reference the Bon Appetit article titled "What's It Like to Eat the World's Hottest Chile Pepper?" easily found through google: In it the author describes how it took 20 seconds to eat three fresh ones, and suffered for it for 14+ hours afterwards.

These are dried whole Carolina Reaper peppers so they do contain seeds but they cannot germinate.
