Is so this wipeable? I need a waterproof fabric for an apron!

Yes, this fabric is waterproof. I used it to make a camera bag for wildlife photography. I think I would use an oilcloth fabric for an apron as it would be more wipeable. Great fabric though especially for outdoor use.
