I've never owned pepper spray before, but after coming across a video review on the NRA website and watching the YouTube demonstration, I was sold on this product. The small size means I can keep it in my pocket at all times without even noticing it's there, and the flip-top design gives me peace of mind that I won’t accidentally trigger it when I’m reaching into my pocket. I bought the three-pack because the price was great, and I figured it couldn’t hurt to have a few extras around. I haven’t had the need to use it yet, but I plan to take one of the canisters to an open field to test it out, just so I’m familiar with how it works. The pocket clip version is especially useful since I can clip it to the inside of my shirt pocket for easy and quick access. After doing some research on other pepper sprays, I’m confident I made the right choice with POM. Their 45 years of experience and the fact that it's made in the U.S. were major factors for me. This is probably my 10th POM Pepper Spray Pocket Clip purchase. I think these things are amazing and due to their size and cost I think everyone, especially woman, should own a few of these. I make sure my wife, mother and kids have them at all times. There are so many crazy people in today's society this items should be part of your daily carry. Highly recommend!

Previous versions of this product had a slide lock for the button which would often turn off in my pocket but the newest design comes with a flip up hinged plate that is way easier to operate. The pocket clip is probably the best improvement though. Just slide it onto the edge of one of my pockets everyday and go. It hasn't come loose or fallen off yet but just in case I order the ones with the brightly colored bands so its easy to see if I ever did happen to drop it. Luckily I haven't had to use it but it is a nice backup plan should I need it. Pretty confident in its effectiveness as its been demonstrated by John on the Active Self Protection channel.

We buy these because they are a good peace of mind and a good value. They are a good size to hold, great safty lock, the only problem is the clip isnt tight so I have lost a few.

I like the POM I carry it my pocket everyday. Holds up well no leaks Haven't had to use it yet, but I live in a pretty sane part of the country. POM brand is recognized as one or the most reliable. I made sure everyone in the family has one. I also like the fact they are dated for expiration as a reminder to replace it in a few years time. Making sure it is fresh, charged and ready to use if needed.
