K&M is the Tiger Tank of mic stands, AWESOME!!!
Beautiful with amazing build quality, and very sturdy. and almost no install time. Heavy duty with no metal spurs or burrs, and painted perfectly. Looks like K&M ditched the Grip Nut that another user had problems with, so now it's pre-installed from the factory. So all I did out of the box was, extend the legs, unscrewed the pole x3 and slightly tightened, screwed on the double ball grip to the counter arm, and screwing it to the base...Done in around 3 minutes. As long as you do not over torque with the hand tightening dials, this will last forever. Great value for the money in my opinion !

I should have gotten this 10 years earlier
I mount my Galaxy PA6 personal monitor on top using the adapter that came with it. I use a K&M extension microphone holder and mount the boom to that, mount my ipad holder, gig tray, drink holder, and this stand is sturdy enough to give me the confidence that it will not break or tip. WONDERFUL design!
