A few people mentioned that the mats get wet from the ice packs. Has anyone had issues with mildew or excessive moisture with these mats?

I've used it all summer and have not not noticed any mildew.. It helps to remove the ice pack when it gets warm and you can hang it to dry, and then turn it inside out. I machine washed it on high heat and hung to dry twice and it does not look the worse for wear...

Do you fill the ice packs with water or are they full of some kind of gel?

Our Flexifreeze ice is 100% pure water.

What are the dimensions of the mini?

I think the only size is 23” x 18”. You combine them for larger dogs. I use it at dog shows in my dogs crate. I don’t cover the whole area of his crate so that he has a choice of cool or not cool.

Is there a refill for the mini size pad?

Yes, you can buy extra refills. I did that so I always had a cold one in the freezer.
