My favorite coffee
I have tried numerous other coffees and always return to this one. Dark roast, organic, decaf. It’s not easy to find a decaf dark roast that is rich and smoky like this one. I love a strong flavor, and this satisfies. I also make this in my French press, which is the recommended brewing method, so I guess that helps. I savor every sip of this!

Has really good flavor
I use a percolator and this morning I ground some of these beans. It takes a lot less coffee to make a good pot. This had a good aroma when I opened the package and while it perked. It didn't look very dark when it was done, but was really tasty. Will definitely buy again.

WE DECIDED THAT THIS IS OUR NEW COFFEE BUT RECENTLY GOT A VERY BITTER BATCH
We are sick of Starbucks for various reasons, so we tried many coffees and landed on this one. It is always rich with a nice, smooth finish and great flavor. The last batch we got was terribly bitter, so we will keep our eye on it. We will still order it, but keep our taste buds on high alert. Hoping it was a one time thing. The cost seems reasonable and it arrives quickly. We buy 2 at a time.

I'm pretty picky about coffee. My usual is Starbucks french roast. This is a great coffee bean on its own, but lately I've been mixing the beans with my Starbucks and it makes my morning coffee much more delicious. Highly recommend

My favorite for many years
Update, 8/29/2024--Amazon is out of this and not sure if it will resupply. I am so bummed! None of my favorite coffee beans are available at Whole Foods and Amazon. I have purchased this French Roast coffee from Whole Foods for years. I have tried dark roast coffee beans from Peets, Starbucks, specialty coffee shops in every place I visit and all brands carried in local stores and I always compare it to this one. So far none is better if you like the deep smooth strong rich flavor without bitterness. While I usually buy it at Whole Foods, sometimes during the pandemic they've been out of it, so I was happy to order it on Amazon. I was not disappointed, same stuff. 5/12/24 update: Whole foods no longer carries this in our area. I've tried many other brands there including the store brand and nothing compares to this one. I hope it's never discontinued!
