These granola bars are delicious and addictive!

These granola bars are good. However, this was my first order for 88 Acres from Amazon. I thought these were the same as my previous purchases and was surprised that they contain caffeine. That's probably not a huge deal, but if you're sensitive, you might need to make sure to avoid them late in the day. Only 6 g of protein, 200 calories, which seems high for a small bar. Also, there are 21g of carbs, 9 g. of sugar. While the ingredients are generally healthy, and there are no trans fats or cholesterol, it isn't overall a great snack relative to healthy choices. There are 3g of fiber. There are 110mg of sodium; that's 5% DV. The bars were fresh and moist. They are handy to travel with because it's an easy way to get a little energy.

I’ve only tried the mocha ones so far because they are so costly and I at least know those are tasty. I wish there was a way I could get a three pack or something. Regardless, I’m very grateful for these as they have been such an enormous help. Like when hurricane Zeta knocked out our power for a week and I ran out of allergen free food, I knew I had these to rely on as a great source of shelf-stable protein.

I want to love these so much! I can't have nuts or gluten or soy and these would be perfect, other than the fact that they have a bit too much sugar. My problem is consistency. Sometimes they're really crunchy like a hard granola bar and sometimes they're very soft, all in the same box. There's no real consistency in texture. I had tried a box of bees about a year ago and they all wear a nice medium consistency. These just aren't that. I don't know if they're old or what but having some that are break your teeth hard and others that are kind of squishy is a bit off-putting to me.

Recently I discovered that I have a lot of food allergies, and adjusting my life has been somewhat of a slow and painful process. Mostly due to finding products which fit within these walls and offer a flavorful experience. 88 Acres meets of of these needs. Wonderful flavor notes of chocolate and coffee (this bar type) and just the right amount of crunch. These 88 Acres bars are a very welcome addition to my daily routine.
