RPB72-1116-05 Pin Box System, 14-18K GVWR - Lippert 1116

Purchased this pin box for our 40 ft fifth wheel. With the factory box we would get a pretty aggressive chuck with every rough overpass on the interstate. I installed the MORryde and left the next day for a 2300 mile round trip to Florida and we loved it! It reduced the chucking by about 80%. When you did feel a chuck it was very suttle and smooth! Great product!! Well wort the money. Easy to install.

The Morryde system eliminates the tug of war between our truck and 5th wheel toyhauler. It has smoothened out the ride so much its incredible!! If you don't have one, GET ONE!!!! Easy to install (make sure you follow the identification chart to order the correct one) and watch the youtube install video The box it arrives in will be destroyed but the hitch is perfect inside! And as a side note, ITS HEAVY, have help.

The Rubber Pin Box does exactly what it advertises: it greatly reduces back-and-forth "chucking" when towing your fifth wheel trailer. It doesn't completely eliminate chucking, but the motions are smaller and gentler, tremendously improving your ride. Easy to install as long as you have a helper and the proper tools. Two 15/16" sockets would be helpful, along with a standard socket wrench and a torque wrench (required); we made do with a crescent wrench and a torque wrench because I had only one socket the right size. Follow the detailed instructions that accompany the product. One note: the pinbox is shipped from MORryde in a box that's too large for it, and it's not blocked to prevent movement in the box during shipping. The heavy pinbox can poke right through the cardboard, and there are just a few pieces of padding that don't adequately protect it. The packaging is clearly designed for point-to-point freight shipping, not for travel through the UPS system and delivery by a single driver. As a result, the first pin box I received had the kingpin poking through the box, which was pretty beat up. When we went to install the pinbox, we discovered it had been damaged sometime during shipping, bending one of the mounting flanges and making the pin box unusable. Amazon did send a new one and picked up the old one for return, so no problem there except for some hassle. The second one arrived packed the same way and with damage to the box, but fortunately there was no damage to the pinbox itself. So if you order this item, be sure to inspect it carefully when it arrives and BEFORE you remove your existing pinbox (not after like I did!).

I chose the MORryde over other enhanced pin boxes because of the positive reviews , lower weight, and best price. I have now made one 1200 mile trip and can definitely feel the difference over the original pin box. Less chucking and it absorbs much of the bounce and jars of the road..

This MOR Ryde made towing my 42’ fifth wheel an enjoyable experience. I have a 2017 GMC 2500 diesel and the herky jerky is all gone. It takes the beating out of the tow. HIGHLY recommended!!

Originally bought this over two months ago, first one took a month and a half to show up damaged. Sent it back received a second one that took three weeks to be delivered and it was damaged.
